“Great restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

We live very close to this restaurant and it has become a place we visit on nearly a weekly basis now. In a city full of chain restaurants, this is a surprising gem. The menu is large and varied. We've tried a variety of things and everything has been great. Personal favorites are the blackened chicken and the baby back ribs. The flavors are great and everything is cooked with a very light hand - no heavy oils or grease. One of my marks of a great restaurant is how the food tastes leftover for lunch the next day and this one is just as good, largely due to that light touch, I believe. We've only sat in the dining room area but it seems to do a lively business on the bar side. We've been for both lunch and dinner and the menus for each are a bit different. Overall, this is a wonderful restaurant.

“Pleasant surprise - nice local restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

This restaurant was suggested to us so we visited on a very quiet Monday evening - we sat in the bar area which only had a few diners. Chris was our waiter - extremely pleasant - knowledgeable and answered all of our questions - we enjoyed our meal pork tenderloin and an appetizer of portobello mushroom and spinach - all presented nicely and very tasty. My apple pie martini was very good - a little light on the alcohol taste but still enjoyable. The surroundings were neat, clean and looked brand new - we told many friends to give this place a chance - we plan on visiting again on a night which has live entertainment.

“No going back”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

Visited the restaurant with friends. Food was mediocre at best Drinks and wine list were not what expected Had salmon and it was from last week, really bad and smelly. Chicken tasted more like rubber and garnished for the entire table. Host did not know what she was doing and more impressed about meeting someone interesting coming in for a date. I don't think you would meet anyone special at this place. this place is like a hole in the wall. Wait staff not knowledable about menu if you call if that. We were taken back by loud noisey music and sleely atmosphere. It 's tucked away in parking lot. There was a large man given direction to host and wow he looked liked a bouncer. Not a place for family or dining with clients. Glad I was there with friends and not anyone special. Reallly really disappointment...

“Nice place to visit on a cold night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

This restuarant is clean and has an inviting atmosphere. The food was fresh and two of the dishes served for the main entree were hot; while the other two entrees had already cooled down, which was unfortunate.
Our server was great, I liked that we ordered drinks and after the drinks came, she took our order for appetizers, and only after receiving our appetizers, were the orders for entrees taken. This was wonderful; because, it made our dinners seem unrushed and enjoyable. Sometimes in other restuarants, a person is barely finishing their appetizers, when the entree comes. The timing in serving was excellent. The food was fresh and well prepared. We were fortunate to sit away from the entertainment and behind the bar, so the noise level was kept at a minimum. The wait to get seated was exceptionally long, about a little more than an hour even though, initially we were told the wait would be 40 min (no fault of the restuarant) people taking a long time at each table maybe was to fault. All in All the food was fresh and the service great. In the future, we will try to go on a night without entertainment, so the noise level would be more condusive to conversation; or maybe we will try their lunch menu.

“questionable service and food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Seated right away and then waited to have a drink order taken. Ordered appetizer and seemed to wait a little longer than usual for fried pre-made steak and cheese empanadas, which were just okay. Ordered our meal, hamburger for me, fish and chips for Mom. Tarter sauce was horrible and the hamburger looked again...pre-made. French fries were very good, but that is all I can offer in terms of the quality of the food. We did bring to attention the issue with the tarter sauce and recommended the chef/cook be notified. Hoping for some response to the complaint...there was none! Considering how empty this place was and the food and service, we will not be returning
