“We checked in and checked out within 20 minutes”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

We left Boston and checked into this motel exhausted - Despite paying $85 for a room (the second highest amount of money we paid for accommodation on our month trip around the states) - it was awful. We felt like we'd stepped back into the 70s - carpet was threadbare, couldn't find a powerpoint to plug our phones into, the TV was fuzzy (except for the unexpected porn channel), and the room smelled. We'd checked in because their website advertised fridges and microwaves in rooms - when i mentioned this to the manager, he said "Really? I haven't seen the site" - turns out it's only in a couple of rooms.

This motel was severely overpriced, the manager couldn't care les.! We checked out, drove 10 more minutes and checked into the Econolodge up the road - only $60 - with breakfast, fridge and microwave (and yay! No surprise porn)

We were there on the Boston marathon bombing day - we were beyond exhausted after trying to help out in Boston - I add this because that's how terrible this room was (even though we just wanted to collapse and cry - we hated it so much, we re-packed and left).

Room Tip: If you're driving from Boston - keep going - the Econolodge is less than 10 minutes away...

Hello,

This is the best bargain I could find in the Boston area. Nice and clean, parking in front of the roo, which makes me more relaxed even when I don't have tools in the back of a pick up, or am riding a motorcycle.
Friendly staff. I have a leg that needs a couple of extra pillows, and they were brought without question and within a few minutes.
Steve's a #1 sorta guy.

Room Tip: Get there early???

I am a 100% disabled military veteran of the US Navy. I have a document from the Veterans Administration, which allows me to be accompanied anywhere by my two trained pet rabbits, which are labeled as "emotional support animals". They have traveled extensively with me, are litter box trained, and have never been a problem....until this time. The check-in clerk, absolutely would not allow my girlfriend and I to check in with my two rabbits. He was quite argumentive and would not give me his name. I informeed that he was breaking the law, but he didn't care. This was the second hotel in all my travels to refuse me a room because of my rabbits. The other one is also under investigation or this, as I have complained to the Better Business Bureau, the Veterans Administration, and the Disabled American Veterans. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint. I strongly advise that everyone avoid this terrible place!

I stayed here one night. I was looking for something cheap. On my way out of Boston northbound on Route 1, I found this motel. It appeared clean enough. Though I saw a bug on the carpet. Bathroom was clean yet dated. The only functional electrical outlet that I could find was in the bathroom, but this was after I woke up with a dead cell phone. The dumpster in the parking lot was very odoriferous. The air conditioning unit worked fine. The room was in desperate need of some air freshener. This hotel was sufficient for one night's sleep but I won't be staying there again.
