“Good if you want to push the boat out a little”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2010

Was the first restaurant we came across
drivinh up from Skaket Beach after sunset. Nice restaurant for a special occasion. On the pricey side though if you're only after a bite to eat. Food was nice.

1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2010

Well....it was $275 for three of us....we each only had two glasses of wine....the food was not great..Pad Thai had some terrible lobster in it....soft..maybe undercooked...and the shrimp was slimmy...and smelt bad...dessert was suppose to be a flan...it was such a mess on the plate it made my stomach turn....the only good thing was the staff....pleasant and clearly embarresed...not good....wont go back-

“Average dining experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2010

Abba is generally an expensive restaurant. The evening we went we found the food to be only average and the portion sizes were not large. For cocktails, we would suggest folks order traditional drinks, as we found the speciality mixed drinks to not be that strong nor unique. The entrees, while ok, were not significantly better than going to a mid priced restaurant.

“oh boy”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2009

We made our reservations for an indoor table on a hot day. That was accepted. However when we showed with a young child the hostess put us into a back outdoor room with no air conditioning, no fan and no open windows. It felt like being in a air tight condom. We tried to convinced her that there were other tables available inside when we came in at 5 PM but all of them were"booked". That was not a good start. We were assured that this was a good and friendly restaurant.. The waiting staff had no smile on the face. Our waitress behaved like if her boyfriend did not satisfied her the night before. The meals were small, and rather expensive. The service was horrible. We had to ask for refills of water, pour our own wine, and borrow utensils from a neighboring table. Such service definitely defied the 20% compulsory tip. When we left staff remained stuffy and I did not hear their thank you and or come back. Maybe they already knew why we will not come back nor recommend the place. So when somebody reads this and still is willing to send over 70 dollars per person, and leave hungry. this is the place to waste your bucks. For others.. there must be a better place even in a village like Orleans MA.. :)
