“Any day at the beach is good-even when it rains!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Nice beach! Clean water and plenty of lifeguards. Great food at Liam's. Been going to this beach for 30 years and never had a bad day--even in yesterday's downpour it was fun!

“Great Beach!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

This was a great beach to visit! There are HUGE waves... they will surely knock you right over if you don't watch out. But that's half the fun! That's if you're brave enough to embrace the freezing cold water! ;) At least it was freezing when we went in mid June. It had been at least 85 degrees and sunny, sunny, sunny that day but we got to the beach around 5pm and the water was so cold. Once you got over the numbing feeling it was fine, haha. The water is crystal clear blue! There is a $15 parking fee, but free after 4:30pm which is nice. There are concessions, which we didn't try, but seemed like regular fried beach food for the most part. There are also bathrooms and changing areas - supposedly showers, but we couldn't find them. There were lifeguard stations, but no lifeguards on duty when we were there. Definitely recommend taking a trip to this beach! It was beautiful, and lots of fun!

“One of my favorite beaches on Cape Cod”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

This is one of my favorite Cape Cod beaches. It has a big parking lot and there is a restaurant selling mostly fired food as well. If you don't live on the Cape (don't have a beach sticker) and want to avoid the $15 parking fee, come after 4:30 p.m.--parking is free. It is great for long walks as well as for families with kids.

“Absolutely beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

We never come to the Cape, no matter what the season, without a visit here. We have been to ocean beaches in California and along the east coast as well as Australia and this is one of the most beautiful beaches. We love that there are no buildings to be seen as you walk along the beach. You can sit for hours and simply watch the waves crash to shore. It is best of course before the busy season but even then you can find a quiet spot by walking a bit down the beach. They also have the best onion rings at their snack bar. This beach is Mother Nature at her best!
