“waitress's bad attitude set the tone”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014

The food and atmosphere were perfect for a casual night out with family. Unfortunately, the night was somewhat spoiled by our waitress with 'attitude'. At the very beginning of the meal we asked for separate bills, as we had three families at the one table. She complied, but her reaction, and attitude from then on, was soured. Other than this, the food and atmosphere were worthy of a repeat visit, and hopefully an overall more enjoyable evening out.

“Good not great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

Been here before and my friends love the fried cod sandwich and we're not disappointed. Fries could use some work and the pickle was limp and tasteless. Good turkey wrap, fair Portuguese kale soup and good stuffed quahog. Go for the pumpkin beer w a vanilla shooter in the fall.

“Good family restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

My party of five dined twice at the Lost Dog restaurant while vacationing in Cape Cod. Our first visit was on a busy Sunday evening. We were seated promptly and were served efficiently even though the restaurant was going at full tilt. The clam chowder was excellent as well as all the other entrees ordered. The meals were ample, well cooked and served timely. We returned on a very stormy evening and were as pleased with the meal as the first time. However, we were seated in the bar area which was very noisy. I would return to the Lost Dog the next time I am at the Cape.

“Local pub with good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

Spent a few days in Orleans, and ended up eating here twice as it was close to my accommodations. Friendly staff and the food was tasty! Nice selection of wines.

“YUM”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

Went here with my SO and we split the calamari as an app and for entrees he got the Captain's Club and I got the Lobster Roll, all REALLY good. The Captain's Club was seriously SO GOOD. The lobster roll was really good (just wish there was more lobster meat, but isn't that always the way), but the bread was perfectly toasted and had a lot of butter (yum). We went around 8pm so it wasn't too crowded and our server was friendly and overall would definitely return!
