“Would love to participate in the hymn sings here”

Large covered space with stage and wooden benches. Can just imagine a revival meeting happening here.

“Art show or musical venue as well as a prayer meeting”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

I visit the park and if there is a function taking place it is worth stopping in the unique edifice.

“extra treat of being serenaded by a violinist”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

This is a must-see for O.B., as the unique character of each little gingerbread cottage is fun as all get-out. In the tabernacle we were lucky to go there when a local violinist happened to be playing just for the joy of it (or maybe commissioned to play there as such by the town?) and I think using some sort of synthesizer the fiddle was hooked up to on his belt he played an amazing version of Amazing Grace. Just beautiful to experience in the cool autumn air, with warm sun dappling through the magnificently twisted old trees on the green. We were transported.

“Quaint Area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Liked the historical aspect, the architecture, colors, and the front porches. The grounds were neat and the paths easy to travel. It was a charming community.
