“Tivoli Inn was great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

I loved that the Inn was set back a little from the center of Oak Bluffs. It was quiet and charming, and kept clean. We were able to walk (5 minutes) or ride our bikes into town. We liked coming back to a freshly made bed. Innkeeper, Lisa, was very friendly and greeted us when we arrived. Room was a little smaller than we thought it would be for the price, but it was sufficient (this was our first time traveling to Martha's Vineyard and quickly realized everything in the area is on the pricier side). Next time I would probably choose a room on the 2nd floor as opposed to being right off the living room. Although, I would opt for a room that had its own private bathroom (which we had) if I had to choose between the two. Would stay again!

We had an amazing time on MV and it is thanks to Tivoli Inn. The location was fabulous, walkable to the ferry but not caught up in any of the late night noise. The breakfast was great, and eating on that beautiful porch was truly a treat. Lisa was incredibly helpful and attentive, and enjoyed chatting with our whole family. We will definitely be back!

The Tivoli Inn is my favorite place to stay on the island. Inkeeper Lisa is always gracious and accommodating, the Inn is always clean, well-kept, and maintained, and there must be meditative properties to the magnificent wraparound porch - every time I relax in one of the many chairs, I'm instantly calmed and in no rush to do anything else. The Outdoor shower is a treat, the coffee/tea/morning breads are well-stocked and tasty, and the Inn is close enough of a walk to the busy part of Circuit Ave., yet far away enough to still be quiet and calming. I stayed with family/friends, and we all enjoyed our stay - we will stay here again!

My husband and i stayed at the Tivoli Inn from 7/18 thru 7/21 and enjoyed every relaxing minute. Lisa, the innkeeper, is very accomodating and whatever our needs she made sure we got what we needed. it is a very clean inn and the continental breakfast on the porch is excellent. We will surely stay there again. We loved sitting on the porch and chilling.

I try to stay at the Tivoli Inn as much as I can. The rooms are small, but perfectly small. I shared a bathroom and never had to wait. Love sitting on the porch at night and in the morning, watching the Island wake up and breath. The owner Lisa was nothing short of awesome (and cute :-))! Just off Circuit Ave close enough to walk to everything, but far enough away to not have to deal with the 2AM partiers!

I am a travel agent for 25years and have stayed in many B and B including in Europe . It was amazing to stay in this lovely B and B in my own country at Oak Bluffs Martha's Vineyard. Every detail including decor is well placed. Fabulous way to start a day with great breakfast , sitting in a patio overlooking fresh purple and violet flowers. Calm and tranquil still only few minutes walk to the center. Would go there again and send my clients too . Lisa took care of us amazingly . She is wonderful

Thank you Lisa (Proprietor of the Inn) for a great weekend. Lisa allowed us to drop off all of our stuff early in the morning prior to check in and change so that we could ride our bicycles to the beach for the day. When we got back to the Inn later in the day she had moved all of our bags up to our room, which she had upgraded. Our room (porch room) was very nice and had a great balcony to enjoy a glass or two of wine prior to heading out to dinner. Lisa’s suggestions on dinner were spot on. On our departure day we decided to take a late ferry, as it was a beautiful day, Lisa allowed us to leave our stuff and we went off to the beach for the day. When we returned she had towels for us and let us use the out door shower before heading down to the ferry to head home. She even offered to drive us down as we had our bikes and bags. The Tivoli Inn is a great place for a low-key weekend in a Ginger Bread House with out any of the Frou-frou nonsense. The light traffic on Circuit Ave was not bothersome to us and there was no traffic after 9ish. Thank you Lisa we will stay with you again.
