“Beswt Fried Shrimp Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2014

Offshore Ale is a great year-round all purpose restaurant. Great Pub atmosphere (with many in house brews) while being very family friendly. Their Portuguese Fisherman's Stew is superb and their pizza is excellent but my all time favorite is the best fried shrimp ever. My only regret is that the fried shrimp is only available at lunch.

“Excellent food in a charming location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2014

Our party had calamari, truffle fries, mussels, pizza, fish & chips and chowder and everything was between good and very good.

I only spent three days in the Vineyard, so I'm NOT an expert, but this was the best restaurant food I had on the island. The pizza was surprisingly good, and the clam chowder was right up there with the best ever.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they serve delicious homemade beer. And big bowls of salty peanuts on the house.

“Average at best”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2014 via mobile

Ate with family after a round at Farm Neck and thought the food was average. Good selection, but nothing that stood out. Most probably better as just a place for a beer.

“Fresh Beer and Peanuts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2014

We got thirsty while walking Circuit Ave and ducked into Off Shore Brewing. The Wheat Beer was terrific but the IPA was very aggressive. If you want peanuts you will have to sit inside. Prices are reasonable. $6 a pint and $3.50 a half pint.

“Great dinner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2014

Excellent dinner and service! We all had a few items that we wanted to try because the menu was extensive! As a vegetarian it was nice to be able to have a choice! Highly recommend veggie quesadillas and the Portuguese Fish stew was loved by my husband. Awesome garlic fries, too!
