“5 Stars! Eclectic, funky, GREAT FOOD!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013 via mobile

Hostess was engaging and efficient. Server was great, very knowledgable about the food. Cocktails were perfectly mixed. Food is off the charts! Lightly battered, unique spin on good standby dishes. This place is a gem. Open until January. This was the best experience I had on the Island.

“Perfect blend of great inventive dishes and casual Vineyard atmosphere.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013 via mobile

The menu was so intriguing we couldn't decide what to order so we did the chefs tasting plates. Amazing creative and delish dishes served up. Bluefish calamari plate and a crazy fresh and flavorful tuna sashimi plate. We loved being given that option - kudos to Red Cat! It will make us loyal diners whenever we're on island. The drink menu was wonderfully inventive. Staff service was perfect.

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

A friend and I both ordered a Seared tuna that came with mashed potatoes and spinach. That was Friday and I haven't been able to stop thinking about how delicious it was! I have to go back and order the same dish! Another friend ordered the fried chicken and felt the same! DELICIOUS!

“Love the Food!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

I was there last night and the fried chicken is the best I have ever had: perfection. I usually get right off the ferry and straight to The Red Cat just to get it. Pair that with the crispy string beans and you will not be disappointed.
Great atmosphere, music, friendly service, and great margaritas to boot!!
It's Sunday morning and I am still thinking of that fried chicken.........

“Didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

We made reservations based on reviews but didn't know what to expect when we arrived given the decor that attempts to be shabby chic but is mostly shabby. The music was blasting and the tables were packed in together so we were a bit put off at the beginning of the meal. But once Cara came to our table everything tool a turn for the for the better as the service and food were first rate. Cara could have not been more attentive or helpful and the food was excellent. We didn't want the full dinners so we stayed with the small plates. We started with the Caesar salad and the roasted brussel sprouts and afterward we shared the burger and the fishcakes. The burger came with enough tater tots to feed the entire restaurant. We finished less than half of them. Everything was excellent. We are looking forward to going there on a weekday and maybe sitting outside where it is a bit quieter.
