My fiance and I stayed here for two nights over Memorial Day weekend in 2014. There are three available rooms and we stayed in the one closest to the kitchen. John and Dee checked us in and we knew right away we had made the right choice - they were so warm and welcoming. Downtown Northampton is about a ten minute drive away with plenty to do there. Our hosts had plenty of food and activity recommendations as they know the town and surrounding areas very well. A vegetarian breakfast was served each morning, delicious and made with care. I was nervous about table conversation with other guests and John and Dee as I am not great with strangers, but the conversations flowed easily and all of us chatted for at least an hour each breakfast. The animals (llamas, peacocks, a donkey, emus, chickens, the hosts' three dogs) were a lot of fun to be around but not disruptive. We are hoping to make a traip to Starlight a yearly experience and I can easily recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing, natural experience.
