Dog friendly and nice. Truro is a beautiful town. Take the time to relax on the beach. Take the shuttle to Ptown. Nice shops to stroll by. Save money and pack lunches.Wellfleet has BYOB restaurants. Take kids to the drive-inn.

Sandbars on Cape Cod Bay is so peaceful and serene. You can sit on the beach and watch the tide go in and out, and the sunrise set which is beautiful. Provincetown can be seen at night all lite up. Pattee and Brian are wonderful and caring people. They try and make sure everything is perfect for their guests. It is definately a family oriented vacation spot. There is a nice sandy beach which little children can play on. My granddaughter was one of those children and she is now grown up and still loves to come here. Her Mom and Dad took her here since she was little, and she has grown to love it. Can't imagine not coming for vacation. The unit is always nicely decorated and is always spotless. We all love it here.

Room Tip: We love the corner suites. Has a little more privacy.

We stayed at Sandbars for the first time this past July 4 weekend. What a great place! Pattee and her husband are the owners, and do a great job running the place. They are super nice, and very knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are clean, and have everything you need to enjoy your time there, e.g. Plates, glasses, silverware, appliances, etc. They also have the most adorable dogs! Bentley was especially friendly...even to our cat! Lovely people, lovely place, everything there for you. And you can bring your pets! We'd definitely stay there again.

You won't find a better place to stay that is close to Provincetown and right on the beach. Patty and her husband treat you like family with their genuine hospitality. The rooms are immaculate and spacious. The views are spectacular! If your looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay the sandbars is the place for you!

We have been staying at the Sandbars for about twelve or thirteen years and Love it! The place is always immaculate, the beds are comfy, it's minutes from P-Town and great restaurants. The best is that it overlooks the bay and it's beautiful sunsets! Seems like every year Pattee and Brian have done some type of renovation or added something new, (even though it's already perfect!). The private beach is wonderful with plenty of chairs, chaise lounges, umbrellas and even a fire pit. There is nothing better than drinking your morning coffee looking out into the bay and seeing the tip of Massachusetts or drinking your evening glass of wine watching the sunset! Who could ask for any more? Just Love Patte and Brian!

Room Tip: Love first floor units, because when you walk out the door you are right on the beach! They are all...

We have stayed at Sand Bars Inn for the last 5 - 6 years and have always enjoyed our stay. The owners have always been super nice. The rooms were always immaculate. We always had a kitchenette and it was always well equiped & spotless. Always enjoyed the private beach with chairs, umbrellas & fire pit. Patty & her crew were always ready to fill any request we had(although we never had to make any).Just love it there & always ready to go back.

Room Tip: Rooms on the beach side, corner, first floor were great.

First time guests to this hotel & not disappointed. Prior trips have stayed in P-town. Never again. The Sandbars sits on a beautiful private beach with chairs, picnic tables, umbrellas, kayak and outdoor fire pit for all to use. Immaculate says it all. Room was comfortable, clean & if one chose to, you could eat all your meals with the wonderfully equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the paintings in the room were beautiful! Pattee is so very welcoming & her staff always smiling. P-town is 1 mile down the road with the center of town about a 10 min drive. Grocery store easy to find as well. Very family & couple friendly. Will always choose to stay here.

Room Tip: If you don't need access for a pet, Room 15 is corner suite with lots natural light.
