“our go to place for the cape”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2014

My husband and I have stayed here several times and will be back again each year. This location is perfect, the size of the cottages is quite large. Love the views and the patio area. Far enough off the road to be away from the traffic noise. A short walk through the sand hills to the water, so if you are dreaming of laying in bed and watching the waves, this is not the place. However, the beach is expansive and quiet here. Very clean accommodations, helpful and friendly staff. Great lawn area with lots of bird activity to create a peaceful morning and evening atmosphere. Bus stop is near by if you want to leave your car behind. Lots of great restaurants nearby.

We stayed in the motel for 3 nights. It was very comfortable, clean and was a stop on the shuttle to Provincetown. There was a great deck to relax and enjoy the bay. All the staff were very friendly as well as fun. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I often spend a weekend on Cape Cod and East Harbour is a favorite in North Truro right on Cape Cod bay. It's a small place with beach access just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Provincetown where there are good restaurants, whalewatch trips, sightseeing and of course shopping. A shuttle service to Ptown stops right out front. If you want to enjoy one of the finest beaches on the east coast don't miss Race Point in the National Seashore only a short distance away. Also try walking the long jetty out to the lighthouse on the tip of the cape. Finally, you haven't really experienced Provincetown without a dinner at Napi's.

Room Tip: Closer to the beach is best. There is one room for 3 with queen and a twin. Also two rooms that are...

East Harbour is one of the last remaining properties on Beach Point that is family owned and operated. They are wonderful people and the place is immaculate and beautifully maintained. These are not fancy places, but very comfortable and they have everything you need. We have rented two bedroom cottages and motel rooms and have always been pleased. Unlike other rental cottages, these include linens and beach towels - even daily maid service. There is a splendid beachfront deck that extends the length of the property - it has rocking chairs, tables and chairs, gas grilles and a breathtaking view. You can walk into P'town from East Harbour - it is really lovely at low tide when you can walk across the sandbars.

My family and I needed a Saturday night stay after a week on the Cape. We choose East Harbour and were delighted by our accommodations. We were given a cottage to stay in that had two bedrooms with a connecting bathroom plus a living room and small kitchen. The cottage was very, very clean and did not have any weird smell of mold that is usually associated with these types of cottages. One reason I believe is due to the fact that the cottage was upgraded to newer modern windows. Also there is AC in the cottage and I'm sure a lot of turnover. The kitchen had newer cabinetry and was equipped well enough for my wife and I to make a nice dinner. The beds were comfortable.

In addition to the nice cottage, the grounds were also very nice. There is a close line outside the cottage to hang your towels and wet clothes as well as a hose for you to wash off your feet. There is also a large common area deck that is well equipped with gazebos, tables, chairs, gas BBQ and an open outdoor shower. The view is beautiful. You look out onto the sand dunes and have a glimpse of water. Plus, you have a great view of P-Town and the Pilgrim Tower. We sat on the deck for our dinner, plus our morning coffee. See the photos I've posted.

As far as cons are concerned based upon my tastes, I would have liked to have had a covered outdoor shower next to the cottage I was staying in. They already have the water hooked up with the house, so a small investment upgrade would go a long way. The second con is that check out was very early. 10:00 AM. We wish we had more time in the morning to relax. Instead we had to hurry and pack to be out at that time.

Impeccably clean, warmly welcoming, with gorgeous views and its own little boardwalk with several gazebos and grills for picnicking or just having a glass of wine at sunset, with manicured lawns and lush flowers, just a five to ten-minute bike ride from Provincetown, and at SUCH price -- this is undoubtedly the best place to stay in the PTown area.

We spent one night this last weekend in this fantastic motel close to Ptown. It is a very clean place, nice bed, modern bathroom, fridge, microwave, ac... It also has a private Access to the beach and nice chairs to sunbath. In my opinion it is a worthy place to stay. Clean clean place.
