My son and I ate her two nights in a row recently and loved it. It is a warm and inviting place with an interesting menu that features seasonal and locally grown food. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on our trip and the prices and variety allowed us to have two great meals at reasonable cost. The staff remembered us on the second night and made us feel like regulars, or old friends.
Of the nine dishes we had over the course of the two meals, eight were excellent, and one missed the mark. The white bean and sausage soup was hearty and delicious, the barbecue burger a flavorful meal unto itself. The yummiest thing I had was the sauteed greens, which were very well executed and seasoned.
The servers were very knowledgable and friendly. I overheard our server discussing the various craft and local beers and ales with the table next to us. They appear to be well-staffed with professional people.
I hope people will continue to enjoy this restaurant and support it. As with all small, independently-owned businesses, most of the money you spend there stays in the community.
