“Warm, inviting and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

My son and I ate her two nights in a row recently and loved it. It is a warm and inviting place with an interesting menu that features seasonal and locally grown food. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on our trip and the prices and variety allowed us to have two great meals at reasonable cost. The staff remembered us on the second night and made us feel like regulars, or old friends.

Of the nine dishes we had over the course of the two meals, eight were excellent, and one missed the mark. The white bean and sausage soup was hearty and delicious, the barbecue burger a flavorful meal unto itself. The yummiest thing I had was the sauteed greens, which were very well executed and seasoned.

The servers were very knowledgable and friendly. I overheard our server discussing the various craft and local beers and ales with the table next to us. They appear to be well-staffed with professional people.

I hope people will continue to enjoy this restaurant and support it. As with all small, independently-owned businesses, most of the money you spend there stays in the community.

“Bustling Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

This place had a cool vibe with an eclectic crowd. We had the blue cheese and bacon flatbread to start, which was good. My husband enjoyed the sea scallops but the ribolita (Tuscan Bean Stew) was fantastic. We didn't make a reservation but called ahead to make sure they weren't too busy. We were there on a Friday night and it was packed.

“Where did this place come from?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

What a wonderful surprise to find a creative bistro in the Berkshires. I had the short ribs on a taco with some kind of kimchi and it was terrific. Look out for the Burbon Pecan Pie ... it gets in your mouth! Go early as the line grows by the door most every night. The word is out!

“Brie burger highly recommended.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013 via mobile

Went in for dinner last Friday and we were able to be seated right away even though it was busy. Food is consistently good and I really enjoy the eclectic beer choices. I only wish there were more " specials" to try.

“Another Great Public Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

Had our Valentine's Day dinner here and it couldn't have been better. Our waitress Johanna was fantastic.... like being waited on by a close friend. Complimentary chocolate covered strawberries were a nice touch. Took reservations that night but otherwise none are needed except for parties of six or more. Don't hesitate to dine here. Something for everyone (burgers to salmon). Great wine and beer offerings. North Adams' best restaurant.
