We ended up here during a late weekend in May where most other places were full because of graduations. It was the worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed at in my life! The furniture was out of the seventies, tube TV, the bathroom window (ground floor) didn't lock, the room was NOT CLEAN, and we often got locked out of our rooms because the electronic key kept getting reset. Did the front desk people care? Did they apologize for the inconvenience? Hell no! It is owned by an Indian family who must hire all their family members who obviously have no fear of being terminated. They were sullen and downright unpleasant. The street noise is loud, especially in the very early morning. Don't plan on 'sleeping in.' We were promised "adjoining rooms". They meant 2 rooms in a row, but ours happened to have the motel laundry room in between. This place is a veritable dump - avoid at all costs. Really. Zero stars if I could have chosen that rating.

Room Tip: Don't even try. There IS no good room.

According to the hotel website, dogs are welcome in smoking rooms. There is no option to pay an additional fee, and no mention of it. (I've brought my dog to some places that DO charge extra, some don't.) On the second day of my stay, the hosekeeping crew alerted the desk clerk that I had a dog in the room. He called my room and basically accused me of stealing since I didn't pay an extra $50 pet fee, which I had no prior knowledge of. He wanted his $50, and didn't care about the big hole in window screen, broken electrical outlet, crayon marks on lamp, etc. I stayed here several times in late '90s and it was fine. But after this recent trip, I refuse to go back...

Room Tip: Lots of trucks use street adjacent to hotel, so expect to hear trucks on weekday morings.
