“Neighborhood bar that has an "oh so chic" dining room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

This place is an oddity.... from the outside, it looks like a neighborhood juice joint, you know the kind of place where you walk in and all the regulars stare at you because you are a stranger, But, when you walk in and make a sharp right... you enter a finely decorated dining room Certainly I recommend that you try the specials of the day. Be prepared to wait for a table if you go Thurs - Sat nights.

Lobster pie is a special treat. Order steak, if you must --- but the fish broiled is the best bet. Great veggie sides.

Full bar service, which is nice for such a cozy neighborhood place!

“Delicious seafood, great prices.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2012

We love this place because they cook seafood much better than we do, but at pretty close to the prices we could buy it from the grocery store.

“Excellent food,,,neighborhood feel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2011

Had a great seafood meal at a reasonable price. The clam chowder and fisherman's platter were great. Small and intimate with food also served at the bar, it was being run by a father and son the weeknight we were there. They do their best to keep everything moving, and it's apparent they've doing it for a while!

Took a train and two buses to get there but we made it! Was the best place and worth the trip! Small place but clean and friendly. Food was excellent! Lobster was $29.95.

“Best haddock around”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2010

Friends recommended this restaurant, so i was aware that it is a hole in the wall. It is not much on atmospher, but the food was great. The clam chowder was hot and creamy with lots of clams. The fried haddock was the best I've ever had in the Boston area. The batter was light and the fish was fresh and moist. My new favorite place.
