“Best meal for price point and best bartender”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2013

My wife and I ate there last week. We are new to the area, and after finding about it on Trip Advisor decided to give it a try. We ate at the bar and just loved the atmosphere. The crowd seemed to be 40-60s and is what we were hoping to find. The couple sitting next to us gave us drink recommendations as they dined there frequently. Our bartender was just fantastic. Despite being busy she gave us the time to go over certain meals and help us picked what we liked. Another guy came in and she had his drink ready for him before he sat, and said told him he is going to love the Cod special and he just replied ok, and it was done. For us I was a bit hesitant to order steak in an Italian resteraunt but she assured us the tips were to die for and she was right. Perfectly cooked, and the right amt of marinate. The spinach was sauteed amazingly. My wife wanted eggplant but did not want the pasta. Our Bartender (Think it was Heidi), recommented the "side of eggplant" which was just that minus the pasta for a lesser price. We were impressed that she would recomment a lower cost dish as many would keep the higher price but her attention was more to our needs and not our pockets. My wife just raved on how big a portion the eggplant was and took it home for lunch.

We were very impressed with everything here at the Marshfield location, and we were more excited we found a winter home. Many seem to be regulars, not bar flies, but at least on our side Heidi knew what most drank, what they liked and what was going on in their lives which made it seem like she cared. An awesome expericence! Def be back soon.

“Beware fundraiser drinks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

Went for dinner Sunday night. Board advertised a drink where $2 went to Alzheimer's research. Didnt realize they upped the price to $10 a drink! Got a small antipasto that was good, but not for $9. Should have been $6. House pizza is always delish. Always too loud though, even in dining room when band is in lounge area.

“Great basic Italian food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

We ate dinner here around 5pm on a Saturday, after a friend gave it rave reviews. The food was delicious, the service was very good. I had a house salad -it came with mushrooms and cubes of cheese which was different - and Chicken Parmigian which was very flavorful. My husband enjoyed his beef barley soup and Chicken Marsala.
By the time we left, the restaurant was packed, and so was the large bar area.
We will definitely be returning.

The food, as always was delish! Will be back many times off of the beach for a cool, satisfying cocktail(s) and theiry yummy eggplant parm...my favority although it's all yummy!
