“In a word...Scrumpdillyicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

During my last visit to this fantastic restaurant I had slices of brown sugar and teriyaki marinated flank steak tossed over mashed sweet AND garlic butter mashed potatoes, didn't have to choose which one I wanted, they offered me both! Hard to describe the flavor of this exceptionally prepared food, except to say it is absolutely "scrumpdillyicious."

On another occasion I had Bondo's signature swordfish and it was cooked to perfection! I have found in other restaurants where I've ordered swordfish that this is no easy feat!
My husband had the baked cod w/panko crumbs and lemon brown butter and that was also to die for. He started off with a cup of their creamy lobster bisque, which was was indescribably yummy, it had a good amount of lobster meat in it. I tasted it so I know that for a fact.

This restaurant is small, maybe 10 or so tables. Not great for big parties. The ambience of the place is so-so, but it is comfortable, warm and inviting.

Check out Bondo's:
Dinners for Two - Mondays thru Thursdays
Dinners feature a soup or salad, main course, dessert & bottle of wine all for only $38!
AND
Early Evening Specials
Mondays thru Fridays
4:30-6:30 all featured only $12!

However, you cannot use LivingSocial or Amazon vouchers with these specials.

FYI-They take reservations for parties of 5 or more.

So I give this restaurant a 5-star rating. Believe me, you will not be disappointed.

Enjoy!

“Great Food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

I've been to Bondo's quite a few times and it's always good. (Don't miss the buttered lobster lasagna!) And his desserts are the very best as well. Friendly professional staff and an all around nice atmosphere.

“Sublime!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

Are you kidding me??? I read some other reviews of this precious bistro and thought many of them silly.

Some said that the pasta was hard. We call that "al dente" which means "to the teeth" in Italian. I'm just a customer and infrequent diner, but that's just a critique from an underdeveloped gastronome who grew-up on Chef Boy-Ar-Dee.

Another diner complained that his Buttered lobster lasagna tasted like butter and gave him one star. Another developed palate from the "Kraft Mac & Cheese generation," complained that his tomato sauce tasted like fresh tomatoes; acidic and raw tasting.

A fresh tomato sauce SHOULD taste like fresh tomatoes.

Olive Garden fans should be forewarned...

Bondo is not your mom. Don't expect him to cook like her...

Great food. So glad Bondo opened his own place! Portions are huge and I can NEVER get a pork chop like his anywhere else!
