I love this hotel! I have stayed here many times (sometimes for a month) and have always enjoyed my stays. The staff is wonderful, friendly, professional and go above and beyond to make sure that I feel comfortable and safe. The rooms are clean and fresh smelling. You can't beat the breakfast and evening reception; both are excellent. There is also plenty of parking spaces. Hotel is close to everything -- restaurants, shopping, malls, highways, etc., albeit Boston Logan Airport is about 45 minutes away. Embassy Suites is the best hotel to stay in the Marlborough area!

Room Tip: Elevators are SLOW! Ugh!

Nice hotel. Averall, a good experience. Detected some cigarette smoke odor in our non-smoking room, but otherwise the room was very clean. This was a handicapped suite, so the bathroom was very large and the bathtub area had plenty of hand-holds. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I have ever had at a hotel. I would visit Embassy Suites again.

Dear Velga A,
Thank you for staying with us recently and for your review. I regret a prior guest may have negatively impacted your experience with smoke being detected in the suite but am pleased you enjoyed the spaciousness of the bathroom, cleanliness, and found our complimentary full cooked to order breakfast one of the best you have ever had in a hotel. We certainly appreciate your comments as well as your patronage. We will look forward to welcoming you back whenever your travel plans bring you back to our area.

Sincerely,

Just spent two weeks at the ES in Marlborough and I must say it was amazing. The atmosphere, the staff, mother entire experience made two weeks in a hotel awesome.
Very rarely do you even see the GM of most hotels, let alone talk to them. Mr Richard tomanek was a great host and if I am ever in the area or have friends in the area I will recommend this hotel over and over.

Breakfast and reception at night was out of this world, again thanks to the wonderful staff.

Room Tip: Rooms in the "parking area" building are better and more accessible.

We have stayed here several times. A few years ago before we moved to the area and now when family visitors are staying. I really like the value that Embassy Suites offers (suites, great free breakfast, etc.) and this is a good Embassy Suites property.

The hotel is quite spread out, so walking to breakfast/pool area is pretty far if you are in the other wing. There is not much to do in the area, and Marlboro is quite far from Boston, but that obviously isn't the hotel's fault. Overall, I would say this is probably the best hotel in the area, especially if you value the free breakfast and suites.

Room Tip: I like the rooms in the 'atrium' wing.

My two kids and I stayed at the Embassy Suites Marlborough MA for a Labor Day Weekend Soccer Tournament. The suite was clean and spacious. The king sized bed was comfortable. The room was exceptionally quiet. The breakfast buffet items and made to order items were good. The kids enjoyed pool. We would stay here again they next time we're in the area.

Rooms are very Small as compared to the rate; the only positive side is its excellent staff. Breakfast was great, including wine and dinner selection. Rooms are just horrible with aesthetics and size. Location was ok but the room charge per night is not worth the room......................................................................

I stay at the Embassy Suites in Marlborough atleast once a month while traveling for business. There aren't many options near my employer's headquarters in Franklin, MA. The hotel staff is very friendly and the hotel has a full service restaurant which is open early and late...a big plus! The hotel gym consists of 2 treadmills, an eliptical machine and some weights so if you're looking for a good hotel gym, you should try the Courtyard nearby. The hotel rooms are really showing their age - furniture looks very worn and outdated. In the last 2 or 3 rooms I've had at this hotel, the bathtubs/shower have had pretty significant rust stains. I'm confident that this hotel stays sold out on a frequent basis is because there are few full service alternatives nearby. If newly built or redecorated rooms are your hot button, I'd avoid this hotel. If a full service restaurant/lounge is your thing, then this is a good option.

Dear Amyisnole,
Thank you for staying with us as frequently as you do as well as your review. Thank you also for your kudos on the staff and our full service restaurant. Regarding the hotel gyms for our inclusive offerings at both hotels, the scope is comparable. The Courtyard leases the lower section of their facility to New Life Health and Wellness and while both convenient and more extensive, readers should know there is an additional charge for access. While off-site, we do provide complimentary access to Wayside Racquet and Swim Club, also located in Marlborough for our guests looking for a more extensive offering. The hotel completed total renovations in 2007/2008 and while another has not been announced you have likely noticed updates to our linen package and I can share we had 50 tubs resurfaced just after Labor Day and anticipate all to be completed by January.
In that we are fortunate to have you with us on a monthly basis, please ask for me to afford me the opportunity to thank personally you for your support.

Safe Travels and Regards,
David LeTellier
