“Very nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

This place has some class and good food. The ambience is terrific with a great bar area. Jazz trio's on weekends. The food was very good. The New England clam chowder was one of the best I've had. The Fried clam plate was generous and good, but not great. Prices were reasonable. All in all I would certainly recommend it and will definitely go back if I am in the area again.

“Well prepared and delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

Its not easy finding a restaurant around Boston that knows how to cook fish without saturating it with grease in a deep fryer then covering it up with crumbs. Four of us ordered the specials (Halibut / Swordfish) and were served fish cooked just right, flaky and tasty with a light sauce plus greens and colorful potato puree. Not a crumb left on the plates when we finished. Definitely worth the price. Good selection of wine by the glass. Service is very good and the ambiance is comfortable. No distracting big screen TVs except at the bar and the background sound level allows conversation without shouting.

“Great place for upscale food in Marlboro”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013 via mobile

I have taken both my parents and friends from Boston to this place. I'm not embarrassed to take them here (unlike other places in Marlboro). The twin lobster deal is fantastic!

“Surprising quality and ambiance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

Located at the intersection of route 85 and route 20 in downtown Marlborough, Fish is a welcome surprise in terms of quality, ambiance, and service. Our party of three had two of the specials for the evening, a wild salmon in a light tomato base and a swordfish "chop" that literally melted in the mouth. Diver scallops were expertly prepared and the fruit cobbler dessert was perfect -- not overly sweet or doughy. Fish is an upgrade from the original Coral Seafood restaurant and has an upscale interior with a variety of tables and booths. The bar area is also appealing and features live music on the weekends. Everything about the meal was excellent -- quality of the food, expert presentation and superb service. Our waiter was informative, not intrusive, and engaging. Fish is a wonderful addition to the Metrowest area restaurants.

“Relaxing & Enjoyable Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

It has been a couple of years since our last visit to Fish (formerly Coral Seafood). Our first surprise came with the change of decor. Plush white booths placed throughout the restaurant, new lighting and soft music playing made this a very relaxing atmosphere. Our waitress was very attentive. We ordered the clam chowder, but when it arrived is was not that warm. We asked for it to be hotter and a new fresh bowl of chowder was brought to our table immediately. Delicious...the best chowder we have eaten in a long time. Our dinners were Fish & Chips and the Diver Scallops entrees. So delicious!! No room for dessert on this visit. This truly was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.
