Very pleasant stay at charming Marblehead Inn. Spacious room, "expanded" continental breakfast, very friendly atmosphere and the Inn is immaculate. I would not hesitate to stay again when returning to the area and would most definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Marblehead Inn for the weekend to attend a family wedding. We came in on a very late flight, and innkeepers Karlene and John not only left a check in package for our late arrival, but the fold out bed was made and turned down, as was the very comfy king bed in our suite. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and Marblehead was an easy walk. After a delightful 3 night stay we discovered my husband left something behind. I called, the item was found and the next day Karlene sent it back to us, and I got a message with tracking information once it was on the way.

Room Tip: We traveled with 2 adults and a teenager. The two room suite was large and comfortable for all thre...

When we arrived to the Inn for the weekend, we were greeted at the door and offered help with our bags. It was not necessary, but a very kind offer and warm welcome to the Inn. The room was large and spacious even with a pack and play setup in the room. There was a large assortment offered in the mornings for breakfast. The 1 mile walk to the Boston Yacht Club was perfect and we look forward to a return visit.

Had a lovely stay at The Marblehead Inn recently. It was a last minute request and they were able to accommodate us on short notice, which isn't easy with little ones. Not many B&Bs accept the minis, so we were very happy that this one did. The rooms were very generous in size and decorated nicely, the service from the owners was first class, and the Inn was very easy to get to. Anything we needed during our 4-night stay was delivered promptly. Their breakfast offered an assortment of delectable muffins and fruit, and the always welcome coffee was the perfect start to our day. We would definitely stay here again!

My girlfriend and I were in town for the Fri-Sun PHRF New England regatta. Rather than make the trip back-and-forth each morning-evening, we decided to stay over. Of the options we considered, the Marblehead Inn, while certainly not "cheap," was the most affordable. The innkeepers were great, as was our stay. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and accommodating of early departures and late returns. Unfortunately, our schedule didn't allow us to take advantage of the breakfast, but having it available was excellent. The room was on the smaller side but had everything we needed. No desk, but this wasn't a weekend to spend in front of a laptop anyway. Presumably, the TV worked, but we never even thought to turn it on. Highly recommended!

My friend and I were lucky enough to stop by The Marblehead Inn last Saturday evening when we were desperately searching for somewhere to sleep. Foolishly we hadn't booked ahead, thinking we'd cruise along & easily find a place to stay - which didn't turn out to be the case at all! By the time we reached The Marblehead Inn at around 9pm we were getting increasingly desperate and even starting to consider the backseat of our hire car.... The Inn is very welcoming from the road and also clearly very popular, as sadly it was fully booked and Karlene had already had to turn away potential visitors that night. However, she turned out to be the MOST helpful and friendly person we came across on our trip from Cape Cod through Boston and on up towards Salem. Not only did she personally take a huge amount of time to make some recommendations to us, but she also made numerous phone calls on our behalf to everyone in the area that she knew that may be able to help. In the end, she did also find us somewhere! Sadly, there was no room at 'The Inn' for us that night, but I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to other travellers, as I'm sure the stay would be as warm and welcoming as Karlene herself. Thank you again so much for all your help as I type this from back in London and if only we could have stayed..... Next time we'll book ahead!!

Thank you, Zara. We also were very sorry there was no room at the Inn that night. It was a pleasure meeting you and we were happy to help and glad that we were able to find you other accommodations. We're looking forward to seeing you again on your next trip here!

The Marblehead Inn exceeded all of our expectations during a recent stay. The building, grounds, and rooms were fantastic but it was the hosts, Karlene and John, that made the experience memorable. Their attention to detail was way above and beyond. Thank you both for the hospitality. We'll be back!
