“Good chinese food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Have gone to Yangtze River for years, both at their Lexington and the Littleton site. Their food is better than any other chinese restaurant in the area, including Bamboo. Nice owners too.

“Excellent food, options, service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

One of the best chinese restaurants in the area, with many options, wonderful attentive service, and lunch and dinner buffet. They have space for special events there, if you want to plan a birthday or other celebration.

“Very disappointing....AGAIN”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

We ordered take-out today. I told myself I would not order here again after the very disappointing meal we had about 3 months ago. But, this time I ordered typical items hoping these would be better. We ordered beef and broccoli, vegetable wontons and pork fried rice. I'm sorry, but this is some of the worst food I have eaten in a long time. The leftovers will be tossed! The beef and broccoli were smothered in sauce, and the broccoli was over cooked and mushy. The wontons were mushy as well. The fried rice was just ok.

“Yangtze River”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Yangtze River is a Chinese food restaurant. It has a buffet or you can order off of a menu. I usually go to the buffet, but if you do not get to the buffet while it is fresh the food will taste old and cold. So I would recommend ordering off the menu if you do not arrive while the buffet is fresh. Otherwise the buffet is a great choice. It is much cheaper than ordering off the menu. I would recommend the Yangtze River.

“One and one half stars”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

Absolutely the worst Chinese food I have had in years. Our dinner buffet was atrocious. NONE of the items looked appetizing, the management had clearly skimped on exotic dishes in favor of deep fried, starchy vegetable-less "favorites", much of the food was lukewarm and unreplenished, the rice was crunchy, the Peking ravioli had sat so long it was soggy, and the Hot & Sour Soup (a clear indication for me on the restaurant's overall quality) was nothing more than a bowl of brown cornstarch glob -- no mushrooms, pork, scallions, etc. It's no wonder that you'll find very few Asians here. This is small town American Chinese cuisine at its worst! Save your money and go elsewhere ... or stir-fry something at home. Your palate and wallet will thank you!
