We stayed there in October of 2003 and were saddened to see a house with so much potential fall into such disrepair. Although it is slightly cheaper than other B&B's in the area, we quickly found out that this was no "great deal". The view from the road made us leary as the landscape was entirely overgrown. The inside of the house looked as if it may have held charm 20 years ago, but it is now in need of much maintenance. From the stained carpeting to loose banisters, to damaged woodwork, there was not much to be impressed about. The worst feature by far, was the bathroom. It had shag carpeting on the bathroom floor that looked like it had started to rot long ago from too many wet floors. The shower was unclean and covered in mildew. The door latch to the bathroom didn't even work. The breakfast was a small contintental that was so unimpressive that we decided to skip it our second morning there. This was the worst B&B that we visited in New England and one of the worst we have experienced ever. We would not recommend this place to anyone.
