“Enjoy an elegant meal in elegant surroundings.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2010

Wwe enjoyed our meal at the Village Inn. There is an outdoor patio, but it was raining the night we were there, so we enjoyed a table overlooking the garden and patio. Food was a great experience.

“Stay Here, Eat Here, Drink Here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2010

Laid back sophistication at a great price. The accomodations are charming, the staff delightful and the food delicious. Ask "what's best" on any given night and you'll get an honest answer from the friendly wait staff. And don't miss the tavern after dinner. It's the best show in town for after dinner drinks or a night cap. Best of all, because of the central location you can walk to the restaurant and/or tavern even if you're staying elsewhere in town.

“Breakfasts are ok, dinners aren't great”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2010

The title says it all - the food at breakfast is ok, but dinner was pretty disappointing. Given all of the other options in town, look elsewhere.

“The best food in the Berkshires.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2010

When in Lenox, Massachusetts we always dine at the restaurant in the Village Inn. The food is a solid 10 out of 10. The waitstaff are friendly and right on. The chef cooks meals to order and it shows in the quality. I cannot say enough good things. Try it and I am sure you will agree. Can't wait to go back.

“Excellent restaurant, best in Lenox..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2009

just came back from the Berkshires and tried this place on the reviews of this site.. Beautiful setting, great service and great food.. What more could you ask for? Had the Beggars Purse, and our main meals were the chicken breast and the brandied pork tenderloin.. For dessert we tried the apple chrisp, topped with ice cream, whipped cream and raspberrys..I highly recommend this place for dinner..
