“My Wedding Weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2010

From the first moment Ron and I drove up to the Seven Hills Inn, we knew it was special. As we walked in the large wooden door, the inside was just as spectacular. Robin, the Innkeeper, walked us through the Inn and showed us, based on our needs for our wedding, where she thought various events could take place. Ron and I knew that we wanted a classic New England style to the setting of our marriage, and the Seven Hills Inn gave that to us. The antique furniture, the beautiful fireplaces, the large open back yard, the gorgeous hard wood floors screamed out that this was the place for us. Even better was the fact that we had family travelling in from all over the world for the affair, and they could stay right on the grounds. The nice thing that Robin and Denis offer is the entire weekend just for your wedding. There are no other weddings taking place, and you can use the grounds as you need to for your weekend.

Everything about our weekend wedding at Seven Hills was perfect. The Manor House and grounds are elegant and beautiful. We loved the setting and all the places for photos. After looking at many venues, we knew at first sight that this was ideal. One of our criteria was a large number of rooms for all of our guests. Seven Hills was able to accommodate with the main house, carriage house, and motel. Even with so many rooms, it still felt intimate and personalized. The owners and staff were very attentive and eager to please. I would recommend this to not just a bride, but to anyone wanting a quiet weekend in the Berkshires. We can't wait to go back!

While my wife and I were not able to have our wedding at this lovely inn, we did stay there for 3 nights, including our wedding night, and we could not have been happier with the accommodations. This is a beautiful venue.

We were able to use the common areas for our wedding photos prior to our wedding ceremony. The living room and bar/ballroom areas were great for taking classy looking wedding photos. The doors looking out to a gorgeous lawn and countryside made for wonderful photos in the afternoon sun.

The room we stayed in was fabulous. Large comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with all of the comforts of home. Our room overlooked the garden and lawn out the back of the inn. It was lovely. I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone who is looking for a classy venue to take wedding photos, and to stay here even if you are not using the venue for your wedding ceremony or reception. Just using the inn for photos was fantastic, and the stay was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were made up fresh every day while we were out.

I look forward to staying here again in the future, maybe to celebrate an anniversary.

My wife and I got married this September at the Seven Hills Inn. From the minute we walked in and were greeted by Robin a year or so ago, we knew the venue and her guidence were perfect. Robin and Denis recently purchased the hotel and have put in a number of renovations to an already beautiful place. They made the manor truely feel like ours and our guest's house for the weekend.

We had a full weekend wedding with a Friday night party, wedding at 4pm on Sat, and the reception Sat. night. All our guests said it was truely one of the best weddings they have ever gone to! Almost all of them stayed in the manor, carriage house or motel and loved it. We organized golf at the Cranwell on Sat morning and other people either relaxed or explored the area.

We had Michael Ballon of Castle Street Cafe cater the event and more people told us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding then we could count! He is absolutely wonderful and great to work with. I highly recommend him as the caterer if you plan to do anything in the Berkshires and obviously have a wedding or event at the Seven Hills.

You will be 100% satisfied and super happy with everything for a wedding. Most importantly, you will feel super comfortable knowing that you have Robin and her staff to make the day perfect!

I attended my sisters wedding at the Seven Hills Inn 10/10/10. It was such an amazing experience to see my sister getting married in such a beautiful place.
The Hospitality was great. One of the greatest parts was, most of the family stayed in the inn which made it a great weekend family gathering because we were all out in this little secluded inn with no distractions. Just the company of each other. By the end of the weekend, it was as if the owners were part of the family. It will be a great memory for ever.

Seven Hills offered the most charming setting for a family wedding. The Inn and its grounds are lovely and the pride of its innkeepers Robin and Denis. While the weather could not be controlled, we lucked out, but an indoor back up plan had been carefully crafted and every detail covered.

I can't wait to go back for a regular weekend getaway!

With my dad in his 90s and mom in her 80s, it's all about making memories, seeing new places, making new friends, and sharing special moments to last a lifetime. All this and more we found at the Seven Hills Inn. The innkeeper, Robin, and her staff were wonderful, and couldn't do enough for us. We felt like extended family.

The accomodations were perfect for elderly parents unable to climb stairs. The rooms were clean, comfortable and welcoming. The full breakfast in this elegant old castle was fit for a king, or emperor, as is the translation for the innkeeper's husband's last name of Wong. The muffins at breakfast were special. Dad took a "few" home with encouragement ! We lacked for nothing. Dad said, this was one of our best trips yet, and mom had to agree. This was one of the few things at this age that they could both agree on, and I had to agree as well.

We are looking forward to returning in the near future, or maybe I will just slip away sans parents. SHHHH, don't tell them!
