“great wedding”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2011

A little dated which i think most of the places in the area are. We stayed in the terrace motel and found the room clean and nice for our needs. It was a bit musty but it had windows that could be opened for fresh air. Breakfast was served at 8:30 and although not five star we had no complaints. One thing that would have made the stay a little more enjoyable would be wi-fi in the rooms. This is not a place for early risers such as myself as there is no coffee before 8:30 and no newspapers. A bit frustrating in the absence of wi-fi. Most places I've been to have coffee ready at 7am and newspapers available. My only other problem with the Seven Hills inn is it's location. Pretty but far from any store (for coffee or food). With that said we had a great time and they did a wonderful job with the wedding. I've never been to the Berkshires before and i'm strugling to find the attraction. NY state was much prettier and less expensive. If I did go back I would probably stay at the Red Lion in Stockbridge about 15 min. away. A little more pricey but lively with its very old bar and fireplaces.Plenty of nice shops and pub like eateries. Walk to everything! If you perfer solitude The Seven Hills Inn is very nice

Room Tip: We stayed at the very end and the water pressure left something to be desired. They had wi-fi in th...

We recently celebrated our wedding at the Seven Hills Inn. From start to finish, Robin and Dennis Wong and their staff did an exceptional job. The space was beautiful, and they were wonderfully professional. Robin personally contacted each of our vendors to make sure they would be there on time and that they had everything they needed, and we didn't have a thing to worry about during our rehearsal dinner (which we held onsite) or during the wedding itself. Although the weather was beautiful, the ground was wet from all the recent storms, and Dennis spent part of his Saturday locating tarps so that the guests would not be in the mud during the outdoor ceremony. And, when we inadvertently forgot the ringbearer's pillow, Robin was there with a substitute in 5 minutes. Our family stayed in the Manor House, and everyone was delighted with the beauty of their rooms and the included breakfasts. It was such a treat to have the Inn to ourselves for the weekend. I would highly recommend the Seven Hills Inn as either a hotel or an event venue.

Room Tip: The Manor House rooms are lovely and more expensive, but our guests who stayed in the Terrace House...

We have been up to the Berkshires for several years but the Seven Hills Inn is by far the best place we have stayed in. We were extremely pleased with the Innkeeper Robin who was there to welcome us and take the time each morning (while we were enjoying a delightful breakfast) to suggest local attractions to visit each day.

The grounds are beautiful and our room was extremely comfortable. The nightly cabaret show Ludwig Live! is not to be missed.

We will definitely return next year!

Room Tip: Whether you stay in the Manor, the Carraige house or the Terrace rooms you will not be disappointed.

We had been looking for an above average place to stay while in Lenox, we tought our searched ended when we found Seven Hills.Unfortunately we booked a two night stay in the Terrace Country Motel instead of the Manor, big mistake! Although I'm not sure the Manor would have been better and twice the price. The photos on their website were misleading. When we arrived I thought we were at the wrong place. The Terrace reminded me of the motor lodges on the roadside in the 60s.The room looked clean, but there was a musty odor. They should tear down the dated facility and invest in building a new motel, as the grounds were beautiful especially in the fall.

My husband and my teenagers booked in for 2 nights on our travels around America. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly hospitable owner Robin. She gave us many suggestions what we could do during our stay. From the beginning, everything felt quite good. The Inn is a lovely old mansion in a great quiet location within short distance to town and to a lovely lake with a small beach. We stayed at the motel and this is adjacent to the main inn. The room was nice and the beds were very comfortable as was the small bathroom. In the morning, we had breakfast in the Inn, on the terrace, with fresh fruit, muffins, cereals, eggs etc. Robin enjoys making small talks to all her guests. The children loved the ground and the swimmingpool or to sit in the Inn with their computer and we enjoy sitting on the terrace with a book and a glas of wine. With so many choices for B&B's and motels, you really would be missing an opportunity if you don't experience this wonderful Inn.

The place is magical. The main house dates back to the 1700's it's located on a large property overlooking a huge beautiful lawn, there is a really nice pool. Breakfast is served in a large room but one can also sit outside on a great veranda and enjoy the well cared for grounds. Breakfast was yummy and the Sunday NY Times was at each table, what a nice touch. There are a number of public rooms open to all guests, large palatial rooms with lots of sitting areas, decorated with antique furniture. We stayed in one of the Terrace Motel rooms. The room is nicely painted, the wooden floor was recently refinished, the bed was comfortable. The room was clean, bright, air conditioned, the bathroom is small but adequate, great shower, very important to my husband. We checked in after 10 PM, as we tried to open the door to our room the key broke in the lock and we could not get in. We called the front desk from our cell, they immediately sent someone over to help us get into the room and get us situated. Everyone was attentive, service was outstanding and the staff was helpful and very friendly. The proprietor of the Seven Hills Inn, Robin, stopped at our table during breakfast to introduce herself and ask if there was anything we needed, made us feel very welcome. The Inn is just minutes from Tanglewood, Lenox and Stockbridge, a perfect location. The Inn has rooms in the Manor House and the Carriage House, these are higher priced rooms and are furnished with antiques and have additional amenities.

with the arrangements.
