“Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2014

Locals like it. A bit loud as locals like to talk about things better left at home. They do not take reservations because the seating area is so small; this can raise a problem if your time is tight.

“Excellent meal!”

Everything we ate here was superb. Sit at the counter towards the back so you can watch the chefs in action!

“Great Food,but !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

But, a little ambience could go a long way. Table cloths? Some homemade, crusty bread? Some exotic gourmet olives? Perhaps a candle or soft lighting? low volume/high romance music? Better wine, and beautiful oversized goblets with which to enjoy it and enhance the taste? And, those lovely little jelly beans are sweet, but how about a tiny, delectable piece of chocolate? Would make those high prices so much easier to digest and add some romance to a truly elegant dining experience.

“Wonderful Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2014

A wonderful dinner at Nudel. Unique menu selections using all locally grown/raised ingredients. Menu changes daily depending on availability of local fare. Four of us shared two appetizers, two salads, two main dishes and two desserts --- and nobody left hungry. Very nice selection of wines. Small, intimate setting (seating for 24), open kitchen and pleasant decor. Very friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Very reasonably priced for dinner including a bottle of wine (less than $50pp). Congrats to the chef for such a fine job.

“Hard To Get a Table But Well Worth It”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2014

Over the past three years we have tried 3 or 4 times to get a table here. Its a very small restaurant with less than 24 seats plus the bar. No reservations are accepted. Finally, on an off weekend we snagged a table as the restaurant opened for dinner. The appetizers were wonderful. I had 2 oyster mushroom tacos that were done perfectly. My wife had the slow poached farm egg that was delightful.. We both had the breast of duck as our entree. The duck was cooked medium, which is more than we normally like, but it was delicious. The portion was also quite generous. Two shortcomings are that there was a choice of only 2 desserts neither of which had chocolate and they only serve regular coffee, no decaf or espresso. Service was very attentive. They have 3 wait staff of this small restaurant. Definitely worth the effort.
