We originally stayed 2 nights at the Devonfield in Dec. of 2003 and loved it so much, that we repeated in Dec. of 2004. Personal committments kept us from going again this past Dec., but we will definitely be returning because it truly is a down home away from home, with all the amenities and New England charm and just a nice, laid back, friendly atmosphere that oozes from the innkeepers and fellow inn mates. The rooms are spacious and gorgeous.
There's plenty of real firewood, and the breakfast is generous and fresh and great tasting. And there's always lots of conversation amongst all the guests in the dining room, so it's always fun and entertaining.
Highly, highly recommended.
The Lee Outlet is 2 minutes away, and there's plenty of real good restaurants right in the area.
