“Old-fashioned and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

Old-fashioned side-of-the-road restaurant. A must-stop whenever I'm up here, for an old-fashioned breakfast. Very little healthy here, so look on it as a splurge. My wife says it's the best kielbasa west of the Oder. Not cheap, but reasonable. Friendly service.

“Dependable lunch place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

Everything about this place was OK. Tables a little crowded. Staff a little friendly. Food fine, but not memorable.

“Good food at a good price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2014

We enjoyed this restaurant so much, we went here twice during our trip (and once on our last trip). I have no doubt that we will return on our next vist to the Berkshires. It is simply good food very reasonably priced. They have a good variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections to choose from. Whatever you order, you will enjoy. They have no problem drawing in the customers because they have a winning combination.

“Diner food, in a great way”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2014

Absolutely great Polish food as well as very good diner favorites. Had the Polish platter (a cabbage roll, shredded cabbage Polish style and a HUGE Polish kielbasa). It was some of the best, rustic Polish food I have had outside of Hamtramck. Wife had the lemon chicken which she raved about. She must have been right because the lady at the next table notice her food and said she had eaten the same and found it amazing. The peas that came with it looked and tasted fresh. Her mashed potatoes were the weakest link but were OK, just not memorable. Got dessert to take home, much latter. Apple pie was fresh and flavorful. But the Carrot Cake was the best ever. Total cost for two large meals, two desserts and drinks was under $30. Worth the stop. Just warning, go hungry and be prepared for an informal, friendly experience, foodies and snobs need not apply.

Breakfast for all three of us was horrible....eggs Benedict ...are you kidding! Pancakes like lead. Horrible coffee. Felt sick after eating.
