“Decent food, poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

There were 4 adults and 3 children in our party on the morning after Thanksgiving. Seating is grab a table for your size party as soon as one empties. There was not a long wait on such a busy day, even for a large party like ours. The breakfast menu has the typical fare. Our waitress was very nice but it seemed she had too many tables so did not bring us things that we requested or there was a long wait. The food was fine from French toast to sausage and eggs to egg sandwiches to omelets. We thought the toast had margarine on it rather than butter. Coffee was just okay. . Prices were on the high side as most breakfasts are these days. None of us had been here before but we were meeting friends at the halfway mark between our homes, plus we needed a place that could accomodate our party. The theme is lodge-like with lots of wild animal trophies. We were seated on the outer part of the restaurant and it was cold there.

“Best breakfast menu ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013

To make things clear, there is a special menu for weekends only. If you eat breakfast here on weekdays you are not experiencing a breakfast worthy of waiting in line for. I am 53 and have traveled all over the place, eating along the way. I consider great breakfast places to be the most special. I am a Eggs benedict addict and no one, in the 7 countries and 31 states I have eaten in has had better Eggs benedict. Main dining room on 6 cruise ships included. omelets with no browning of the eggs at all! One way to judge a place is by the amount of people. Show up on a Saturday or Sunday morning after 7:30 am and you will wait along with dozens of others. WE drive by several other diners and breakfast places to get here! Come on, try a weekend breakfast, but get there before 7:30.

“Nothing to write home about.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Was delisted to meet friends here. Was looking forward to it.
Unique, interesting decor!
Food was cold and kind of tasteless. Service was wanting.
I wouldn't rush to go back here again..actually would suggest another place.....there are many. It is not a necessity to go there.
Disappointed.

“Very cheap, with the food quality to match”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Inexpensive greasy spoon with the normal diner foods: eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, etc. Nothing special here -- home fries that appear to be frozen, mediocre diner coffee, just the basics. On the plus side, service is very fast and friendly. The woodsy hunting lodge aesthetic isn't to my taste, but kids seem to like it.

If you're looking for no frills, this place will suit your needs. If you're looking for fresh and healthy foods - go elsewhere.

“Just a basic joint”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

French Toast is Great, everything else is just OK, not bad at all, but not inspired. Weird fake Alaskan lodge decor, not inviting.
