“The Place to Stay in Hyannis”

SeaCoast Inn

Our first trip to the Cape Cod area was enhanced by our stay at the SeaCost Inn. Although we only stayed 3 nights, we will be back in the future for a longer sojourn.

As many others have mentioned, the inn is very well maintained and almost spotless. It's nice to have a fridge in the room to story drinks, etc. Parking is free and just outside your room, plus the location is excellent.

While there, we took the express ferry over to Martha's Vineyard and a bus tour of the island. Terri was able to get discount tickets for the ferry and we just walked down to the dock, leaving our car at the inn, saving a $10 parking fee.

Acting as a travel agent, she plotted on a map a course for us to visit several towns and beaches along the middle cape, steering us to some of the local roads. One night we attended a Cape Cod League baseball game and they loaned us some lawn chairs. You can walk to the game although we drove and ended up just sitting in the bleachers. Had a great time.

Just a block from the inn is the main street with shops, restaurants, and the Kennedy Museum. Outside of town is a mall and several chain restaurants.

Overall, a great stay!

I always check tripadvisor before booking hotels and was really impressed with the Seacoast reviews I read. There are so many small motels on the Cape that when I came upon this place and with a AAA price of $108 who could resist. My only hesitation was that there was no pool which my kids enjoy but.......we could do the beach. Anyway, Terri and Al were so welcoming and helpful everytime we saw them. They have maps galore we never got lost! The location is walkable to town, the harbor etc.
The rooms were very clean and quite comfortable. The breakfast was great as well. If anyone asks us where to stay on the Cape we would surely send them to the Seacoast!!!
Terri even gave the kids a box of taffy when we checked out! They loved it there even without a pool!

“Perfect Place to stay”

Terri and Al run this lovely little hotel like a Bed and Breakfast. Lots of personal attention, cozy and extremely clean rooms. when we arrived Terri made me a cup of tea ( which was much needed after the drive). they are full of information of the area, and had suggested a Whale watch, which at first we did not think we would do, but changed our minds. Boy are we glad we did! We saw 30-40 whales that day, which according to the man who ran the boat for 25 years - has never seen! Thanks to Terri's suggestion we had a once in a lifetime experience!

This hotel is centrally located - perfect place to stay and take day trips out. we stayed for 6 nights and felt we had seen everything on the Cape. They also have all the tickets for ferrys, whale watching etc right there.

Do not hesitate to stay here!!

I booked this trip way back in Feb after reading the TripAdvisor reviews. We stayed for one night over a weekend.

Service: We arrived around noon on Sat and Terri quickly found us an available room to check in to. Also brewed a fresh pot of coffee for my boyfriend! Overall they were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was basic - muffins, bagels, donuts with coffee, juice, and tea. A nice way to start the day.

Location: The location could not be better. Just one block from the Main St and another block to the ferries to Martha's Vineyard.

Rooms: The rooms were basic but clean and had all the necessities. As one reviewer mentioned, the bathroom looked like it had just been redone. I was surprised to find a little kitchenette with stove, microwave, and sink. Also pots and dishes. This was great for eating leftovers! We had a bit of an issue with the AC. It wouldn't stay on all night and it blew directly on the bed. I had to constantly get up to make the temp colder so it would turn on, then I would be cold in bed. But then it turned off and I was hot! So I did not sleep well.

Overall this was a great value and a pleasant weekend stay. We would stay again.

Booked this on the back of al the great TA reports and were not disappointed. Very warm welcome form Terri and Al who couldn't be more helpful during our stay.
Great location just off Main Street. Short walk to Ferry and restaurants.
Rooms basic but clean. Kitchen equipment available. Al kindly made us tea/ coffee in the evening when we returned from dinner.
Continental breakfast with plenty of choice.
Woud highly recommend. Would be hard placed to find somewhere nicer and better value in Hyannis.
