My fiance and I just returned this past weekend from Hyannis (Saturday Nantucket trip) and the Sea Coast Inn. We are already planning on visiting Terry and Al again next year! What a great little, clean, and friendly, inexpensive, and welcoming Inn! We arrived on Friday night, and Terry personally walked us to our room, after we provided her our AAA card and itinerary for the weekend. The room had a King bed, a fully operational kitchenette, clean spacious bath with hand-stenciled borders, and newly tiled floors. There was good light from the outside (two walls of the room led to opposite views of outside), but even more surprising was that there was MORE than ample lighting in the room when the shades blocked the light from outside. Spotlights in the Kitchenette area, another overhead above 2 chairs with matching ottomans, as well as two lamps. The lighting in the bath was just as ample, with one switch for a light, and another for a light and fan. The room had a good-sized flat screen tv, as well as a brand new iron in the box, with a ironing board in an open closet. The Inn site appears to have construction going on, so this already nice property is going to be even better! And, it's very inexpensive with a great location. We walked to the Steamship Authority (about 8 minute walk) to take the ferry to Nantucket (which by the way, Terry took care of our tickets in advance, saving us $5 each on the tickets round trip at a discounted rate). Also, on Friday night, we walked around the corner to Main Street (did a little shopping, noted the JFK Museum) and had a nice casual meal at the British Beer Works. Decent food -- cold beer/ale/lager/stout! In addition to all the friendliness of the Inn, Terry and Al provide a fresh continental breakfast each morning complete with Cereals (Hot and Cold), Fresh Coffee, Muffins, Bagels, Donuts, Croissants, OJ, and more. I can't more highly recommend this Inn. Hopefully, it doesn't get so busy from all the great reviews that one can't get in. We are definitely returning next year, hopefully for more than just 2 nights! By the way, even with current Gas Prices, Terry offered to drive us down to the Ferry on Saturday -- now that's service and sacrifice. We politely turned her down because costs are so high. Sea Coast Inn can't do enough for its customers. EXCELLENT!
