I chose this B & B from reviews on Trip Advisor & they did not disappoint! We knew we were going to spend a day each @ Nantucket & Vineyard so the location was good for catching the ferries. We spent four nights at the Inn & wish we could have spent more time at the Inn itself. It's so peaceful & the setting is beautiful with all the flowers & the Koi pond. Breakfast is included & is the best I've had at any B & B's. It's served on the shaded deck overlooking the flowered grounds. Mike & Nick are excellent hosts & when we left I felt we were saying goodbyes to friends. They are very accommodating & helpful with info on the area when needed. They also let me spend time with their 2 beautiful dogs which was great cause I was missing mine. We're hoping to go back again next year, if we lived closer (we're in Texas) we'd go every summer weekend.

Green Mountain came highly recommended by Rachel Rone and Bob Topor. the Inn exceeded our expectations. Mike and Nick who own the Inn are a great couple of guys who go the extra mile. The are extremely pleasant, helpful and just fun guys. It is obvious their objective is focused on their guests but in a very special and most comfortable manner. We shall return!

Room Tip: We booked the Orleans space. A little more then we needed but we are spoiled

The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculate. The hearty breakfasts they serve are so delicious! The owners, Mike and Nick, will go above and beyond to make your stay at the Green Mountain Inn a memorable one. They are such warm and giving people with a great sense of humor. We have stayed at other Inns on Sea Street but after staying at their place, we won't go anywhere else. I wish there were more than just five stars that we could give them.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are great!

Just loved the easy going feel and homeyness of the place. The breakfasts are set up to make it easy to talk to the other guests who come from all over the world. Rooms are sunny and cheerful. Great location too.
Hosts are super nice and helpful. Will definitely return

We had a very memorable and fun stay at the Green Mountain Inn for 3 nights (June 28-July 1 2013). Nick and Mike are the best innkeepers and they really know how to treat their guests! Breakfasts were awesome. They even went out of their way to give me a muffin with my breakfast (with sausage/bacon and the best hash browns ever!) , as I had told them that I don't eat eggs. My husband loved the breakfasts! The conversation at breakfast was so much fun. We were even treated to a dance show after breakfast one morning, courtesy of Sabine and Steve (professional dancers who were also staying at the inn). We stayed in the blue room, which was upstairs. Very clean and private. Having a fridge in the room was a nice touch. We slept with the windows open and enjoyed the cool nights. It was quiet. The inn is in a perfect location, about 3 blocks from the beach and about 1/2 mile walking to town (along sidewalks). I love the town of Hyannis, which is perfect location to explore the Cape. Nick and Mike offered so many helpful tips (which ferry to take for trip to Martha's Vineyard, saving money on the whale watching tour and even booking the tour for us!). They give you directions and suggestions of things to do. They are the perfect hosts and treat you like family. At the end of our stay, which was too short, we felt like we were saying goodbye to family. We will return and we will definitely recommend this inn to all of our friends and family. We will always cherish our memories at the Green Mountain Inn!
Hi to our new friends: Nick, Mike and Heidi, Sabine and Steve, Annabelle and Orlando, Mick and Michelle, Julie and Mike, Nancy and Stan, Andrea and Lou and Lawrence. Meeting all of you made our trip that much better!

Room Tip: Loved the blue room, in back of house, very quiet and private!

The hosts were the best part of the visit. Mike and Nick are small business owners who worked hard to provide a comfortable place to stay and they go above and beyond to assist. Unfortunately, the property was in need of updates. Considering the structure was built over 100 years ago, the building was satisfactory. The Orleans room is suggested to avoid. There was a stale smell in the room which lingered overnight. Also, care was taken to clean the main areas in each room and some areas were overlooked. The window sills and screens were dusty. Also, the shower curtain rods had grime around the rubber anchors. Another overlooked area was the ceiling fans in the bathrooms. A large amount of dust and lint had collected around the ceiling fans. Based on cleanliness details, I would have rated the property average. Due to the great hospitality, the rating was improved to above average. Overall, I would recommend the property. One final note, the property proximity to the beach and downtown area was fantastic (literally, a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the downtown area.)
