We called ahead to make sure we had WiFi since we needed to get some work done (the only reason we were staying at this hotel is because someone else chose it for a wedding block). One the phone, we were assured we would be put in the main building because there is where the WiFi is strongest. We thought this was a good first step. Well, upon arrival, we were not. We were put in a back building, where we did not have WiFi and our room smelt like mold (which I am allergic to). Thankfully, my husband arrived before me and got us moved before I got in there and got a a sinus infection.
Our upgraded room, while not smelly, was not much better. It was large, but, not clean. Our couch had stains all over it and our pillows (stored in a drawer?!?!) smelt like sweat and had hairs on them. We left them out for housekeeping to change - they didn't. There is also a giant fridge stored in the bathroom (which is nice to have) but, it is so loud you can't hear the TV over it.
Also, everything in this hotel is confusing. Parking lines? They are angled, so, everyone ignores them and takes two spaces. Wedding couple provided their guests with bags and instructions? We need to beg for them (which, of course, they had for us but didn't offer to give us until we told them repeatedly there must be one there - which we knew because we helped organize the event). Where do we get the shuttle bus to the wedding? The front desk has no idea, but, random other guest could easily tell us. Signage to our room? Well, the numbers directing us where to go only went up to 13 on our floor (our room was 14) so we wandered around, arms full of bags, wondering where we were going.
Oh - and that WiFi we needed? It was also terrible in the main building. We needed to tether off our smartphones/go to coffee shops to get anything done.
