Mine and my sisters family stayed here labor day weekend and loved it!!! Even though all the activities had stopped the day after we got there we had a great time!!! We enjoyed day 1 by the outdoor pool which has coctails and food delivered poolside...a 3 man band played during happy hour and dinner on the outside deck was delightful!!...we are planning on going back this summer fo sure!!

We recently had our first vacation with our one year old daughter at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa. The resort was very clean, and the staff was so accommodating!! My husband being with the Federal Government received a call in regards to the Boston Marathon and suddenly was on call. The front desk was so understanding and helped us out just in case we had to leave. Luckily we ended up staying and enjoyed a nice relaxing and fun time here! We couldn't ask for a nicer time here and was surprised they offered so many activities for the kids.

I came to this hotel for business, but I will return with my family. The Hotel has a wonderful facility. The programming and activities at the hotel are geared for the entertainment for the whole family experience. The outdoor pool is exquisite, the indoor pool is grand. The inner courtyard has a volleyball sand court; there is also a game room for kids. Movie night for the children and young adults, a spa for those who need relaxation. Nice gift shops. Oh by the way, it’s also has great rooms for business. The meals are what is expected.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the inner courts

Went during school vacation 1 night $265 per rooom with AAA discount. We were in the 300 block of rooms and the Wifi was almost non existent. The room was big and bright with a good sized fridge. We asked for connecting rooms but the door was blocked by heater so that was a bummer. they had fun things like crafts a dance party and marshmellow toasting ($5 per bag) for the kids. The indoor wave pool is great however the Chlorine smell was so strong this time that it caused many in our party to cough and irritated skin. Luckily they have an outdoor heated pool (kinda heated) Pretty cold but some kids were swimming in it. The hot tub was great until someone pooped in it! It was like watching Caddyshack as everyone screamed and jumped out. They do not enforce the "no one under 16 in the hot tub" rule. I would go back but not on a school vacation week.

Room Tip: Cut through courtyard to get places,

We had a great time during our brief getaway at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa. We really went primarily do our you g children could enjoy the pool, but we were thrilled with the activities organized by the hotel; balloons, tatoos... Our kids had a great time, which made us very happy!

The hotel is very dated. It is more of a motel than a resort. The decor is bland and boring. our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but I did kill a very large black spider our last night in our room. we were next to the outdoor pool and that was extremely loud until 10 pm with kids screaming. That being said, my 10 year old did have fun in the wave pool, but after 2 hours her eyes burned of chlorine and was coughing very badly. I did not swim, just waded and then watched from the side and my eyes were burning as well. The staff seemed overwhelmed and misinformed about what was advertised for kids activities. The activities were quick and not overly engaging. We had parent and child massage at the spa, it was expensive and probably the worst massage I ever had. The idea of allowing kids to have a spa experience was good but it missed the mark. We stayed for two days and were struggling to find things to do in the area in April. The Heritage museum in Sandwich was very nice but that was all we could find to do, as most places have not opened yet for the season. I would say overall it was just ok but for the price I expected a lot more.

Room Tip: Stay away from the outdoor pool, very loud!

I've been coming to the Cape Codder for years. The kids love the wave pool and breakfast at the Hearth n Kettle is always a must. The property is beautiful and the hotel is clean. The staff is super friendly and accomodating. The location is great too. There are several area beaches nearby, as well as, a ton of fun things to do in both the lower and mid-cape area. This patricular trip was without the kids (whoo hoo!). We arrived late and tired due to traffic along I-95. We were greeted by a very friendly, empathethic young lady at the front desk. Once in our room, we collapsed on our king bed, which was so ridiculously perfect that words can't do it justice. The bed alone was worth the trip! I've been in several other hotels in the area and no one can come close to the experience we always have at the Cape Codder. Its more fun and cleaner than any in the area. They have fun activities planned for the kids and although we haven't used the Spa or gone to the Grand Cru wine bar, the extra amenities are what sets this hotel apart. Since we have begun staying here back in the 90's, they have constantly made improvements. It really is an excellent property, with or without kids.
