Excellent hotel with great view. Check in was smooth and our questions were all patiently answered. Huge room with deck overlooking the harbour. Apparently they upgraded us as well. Breakkie was excellent. Definitely recommend the hotel.

Rarely do I say a hotel is "completely wonderful" especially a motel. The Anchor In is just great. It is a simple place, but it has all the creature comforts. The rooms are not only nice, they are immaculate. The breakfast in the AM is more European as it is a pretty full spread and a good one at that. We loved the view, and based on the hotels we saw all over the cape, this hotel really has a smashing view of Hyannis Harbor. The heated pool suited our 2 young children and the fire pit in the evening adds a touch of romance that most motels completely lack. Don't be put off by the plain fascade, these rooms are a cut above, the place is quiet as a mouse at night and the entire experience is really great. Hyannis also makes a logical place from which to do different day-trip loops around the Cape. Stay here!

Room Tip: We liked the first floor room with a patio and spread of lawn which our kids loved. Walk right out...

Had high expectations after reading great reviews, but this place completely lived up to the hype. Everyone we spoke to was incredibly helpful and friendly. The beds were really comfortable, room was clean and stocked with plenty of towels and amenities (shampoo etc, plus makeup remover towelette - nice touch). We checked out at 11 am the day we left but were told to make ourselves at home and stay at the pool as long as we'd like (plus we were give two water bottles, another nice touch!) Pool had big, plush towels. Can't wait to return to the Anchor In.

This was our first family vacation, our son is under 2 years old. We wanted to stay on the cape somewhere in the middle near things to do. We choose Hyannis after researching the Cape. After reading reviews we decided to try the Anchor In. I am happy to say we are glad we did. The service was wonderful, the property was well maintained. The room wasn't luxurious but it was comfortable, inviting, & quiet. We had a nice sized balcony that could be accessed through a sliding glass door. We had a nice view of the Hyannis Marina, lots of boats, & nice water views. My favorite thing about our stay here was the heated pool & the breakfast every morning (free w/ your stay!) The spread starts at 7am, with hot fresh coffee, hot tea, juices, & delicious bagels & muffins. There was hard boiled eggs, deli ham, cheese, dry cereals, & fresh fruits (strawberries & bananas). Both my husband & I as well as our son enjoyed the breakfast & it was nice to be able to gran a tray & take the food back to our room to enjoy it. It fills you up and gives you a great burst of energy to start your day. The library area is clean, cozy, & inviting. I loved the sunny hallway outside of the library to sit and admire the view. We would recommend this hotel to anyone with or without children. It is in a great location close to beaches, shopping, restaurants, and more. Check out Main St in Hyannis, one of the best Main Streets I've experienced in my life! It is full of things to buy, admire, eat, drink etc. The only cons I could think of for this hotel was that the parking was a little tight with how the lot is set up, but nothing that would deter me from staying there again. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a nice water view

We stayed here on 1 June and can't praise it too highly. The welcome we received was delightful despite the fact we had mixed up our reservation. The staff could not have been more helpful on our arrival. Rooms were spotless and the view was gorgeous. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Every member of staff was cheerful and helpful. 24 hour tea and coffee was a bonus as was the leaving gift

Room Tip: Room which has a sun facing verandah in the afternoon

We stayed at the Anchor Inn in Hyannis, Ma. in May 2014. We had a wonderful stay and the staff was so friendly and nice. Would stay again if ever back in the area. The Hotel was clean, nice and had a very nice view of the Harbor. Good Price for location. Room were clean and very comfortable. Thanks Anchor Inn for making our stay in the Cape Cod area wonderful.

Also left behind my cell phone charge and the called as soon as the cleaning staff found it and shipped it right out to me and I received it two days after returning home. Thanks so much for doing that for me.

We picked this place based on the reviews we read on tripadvisor. We couldn't have been happier. The service was fantastic from the moment we arrived. The entire place was spotless and clean. Our room had 2 queen beds and a sliding glass door with a great little balcony over looking the harbor. This is a great place to stay. The harbor views are beautiful and they have a great breakfast thats included! Only thing I would note is that the balconies are not private and you can literally be sitting next to the person in the room next to you but we didn't mind! And though it's close it really is a little bit of a walk to get to the shops and restaurants on Main Street. But it's definitely somewhere we would stay again!
