“Service, Service, Service!”

I've now booked my third stay at this hotel and can't say enough wonderful things about it. The offseason rates are very reasonable, the views are amazing, I love the restaurant, pools and room amenities (fireplace!) but nothing compares to the amazing top level service. The front desk always greets me with a smile and conversation in the morning. Kathy remembered me by name the last time I visited and really makes this feel like a (more luxurious) home away from home. I cannot wait until my next visit!

Lovely hotel, warm and peaceful. Friendly staff. We stayed here one night with our 3 children. Got a super rate as we were a last minute reservation and it was March.
The room: very clean, especially compared to what I would have gotten elsewhere for $80. Jetted tub and gas fireplace were nice and we had an ocean view from our balcony. The hotel restaurant is oceanfront and serves a good breakfast. A great stay; we'd love to visit again.

Just arrived from France to visit this area, we stayed 2 nights early November 2014, the Resort had offered a off-season greatly reduced prices. My friend and I asked for rooms with an ocean view, and they did with balcony where the sea views are amazing early morning ! Spacious rooms with comfortable king bed, charming fireplace, flat screen tv, and other standard amenities. Big bathroom too. All was very clean. Very good and friendly team at the bar ! We had dinner and breakfast on site, food and wine were good and reasonable priced.
The desk staff couldn't have been more helpful and efficient with suggestions about where to visit ! Many thanks.
If you want to visit Boston, this hotel is an excellent and relaxing base very close by car from Hingham where you can catch a ferry for Boston (very good value) ! Wonderfull views from the ferry.
We have had an unexpected, very enjoyable and relaxing stay !

My husband and stayed for the night there and the view of the beach was gorgeous. Unfortunately the Winter isn't quite done with us and it was freezing. My husband thought the tub in the room was bigger and the rooms are small but the TV is new and nice and the bed was decent. The pool and the hot tub were gross. The workout room was excellent. The food in the bar is okay but over priced.

Room Tip: The room had a buzz

We live on north shore. Had a show in Hingham. Too late to drive home. Pricelined this hotel as all prices in area over the top. $113 got us room 315. 3rd floor. Claustrophobically small. Old fashioned shower, too scary for me. Here on business, can't imagine choosing this hotel for pleasure. Run down area. Across from beach. Busy road in front, trucks etc till early hours, noise level, high. Paper thin walls. Room showing signs of wear. Bed comfy. Superficially clean. To clarify, have to stay in hotels over 180 nights a year. Last time used priceline 3 years ago. Car parked somewhere remote. Never again.

this hotel was my first experience of america, and what an experience, i loved the place the people are so friendly and the area is so pretty, dead opposite the beach with breathtaking views from the restaurant and a dunkin donuts just down the road, drive into quincy and take the ferry over to Boston harbour, then come back have a drink in the bar and steak tips in the restaurant opposite, or eat in the hotel restaurant which is expensive but lovely

Room Tip: any room is good

We spent two nights in the Nantasket Beach Resort while visiting friends in the Boston area.

On check-in we were given what was supposed to be a no smoking room that in fact reeked of cigarette smoke and disinfectant, but after a call to reception we were immediately moved to a better room. The room was clean and reasonably spacious with a small balcony which provided a good view of the ocean and we were fortunate to enjoy two spectacular sunrises. The wallpaper was a little dirty in places but a working gas fireplace was a nice feature. However, it is linked to the thermostat, so unless the temperature is set very high the fireplace does not work.

We ate one evening in the bar (the main restaurant was closed, presumably because it was out-of-season) and found the food a lot better than the generic "sports bar" atmosphere would suggest. Service was excellent - friendly, efficient and attentive.

Our main criticism was not of the hotel itself but the surrounding area. Many beach resorts tend to look dreary in the winter, but the area surrounding this hotel appeared very run-down; empty storefronts and no other restaurants in the immediate vicinity except a couple of uninviting pizza parlours. But all in all, given the price, it was worth the money.
