“Good food, but starting to slip...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

Had dinner Saturday night. Seemed slower than usual so were surprised we had to wait 15 minutes for our reserved table. Took a while for the waitress to come over too. We tried the Sangria, which was ok, but too much carbonation and not enough wine/sangria flavor. For App's we had the beet salad, very tasty with goat cheese & walnuts. The complimentary bread was warm with flavored light butter spread and was delicious. I had the Bronze salmon entrée with baked potato & steamed broccoli, a yummy favorite, but not only did the price increase $22.95 ($3) but they cut the portion size!!! :-( I would rather pay a little more $ and get the standard size. Seems like it was barely 6 oz. and I felt ripped off. Usually or favorite local restaurant but if they are going to skimp on portions we will have to go elsewhere. My husband had the burger which was flavorful and although not large is still a favorite. For desert got the usual hot fudge sundae. Desserts are simple and usually great. Noticed this also shrunk in size. There is a new restaurant next door so I hope Burtons reads these reveiws ...

Although food is very good, we had to rate lower due to skimpier portions and wait time.

“Enjoyable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Second trip for us. This time I got the Salmon Picatta. OH BOY! The other 3 diners enjoyed their meals and I was thrilled with mine. Will probably try that dish again! Service good, seated on time, neat and clean. Can't ask for anything more.

“Great burgers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

Stopped there on the way to see a concert in the area and was surprised by a chain restaurant making you feel like an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere, service and attentiveness to your requests is bar none. If you want a restaurant that really appeals to couples not family try this place.

I joined four of my friends for dinner at Burton's Grill. The waitress was very attentive to our needs. The appetizers were delicious. The entrees were hot, presented nicely, and tasty! Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

“$1 Oysters?”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Burton's Grill offers $1 oysters Tuesday evenings. I love oysters and stopped in - sat at the bar, ordered a dozen oysters and a drink. Asked the waitress where they are from. "Canada" she replied -- Canada is the second largest country in the world!! where in Canada? Prince Edward Island, she said. I have never, ever seen such tiny oysters..been to PEI many times and love PEI oysters. These were the worse, must be rejects from PEI. They should be ashamed to serve them, $1 or not. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area, I will not go back to Burton's Grill.
