“Best chicken pot pie”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

Great place for couples or family dining. Great service, lodge-like ambience and not too pricey. Chicken Pot pie was $15 but was absolutely wonderful. Freshly made - lots of big chunks of chicken, fresh veggies and the crust was put over the top of the pie and was oozing everywhere. Nice and golden brown and tasty.

“High price but no competition”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

Husband had chicken pot pie he loved it. I had scrimp it was ok.
Very nice decor but price is a little high for the quality of food - but in the area there are not too many good places to eat if you don't want to drive 30 minutes

“Meh”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

Went for dinner over Memorial Day Weekend. We were sort of late so maybe that's why our service was so lame. We got a table right away, but it took a while to get a server. We never got napkins and utensils and then the food arrived and we had to flag someone down so we didn't have to eat with our hands. Prices were not so cheap, which is to be expected in a resort, but then the food was mediocre. Atmosphere was okay. It's clean and new, but feels corporate and void of character.

“Good food, dismal customer service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

My extended family (4 adults, 2 boys ages 8 and 12) stayed at Jiminy Peak this past weekend, and had a meal at John Harvard's. The food was as would be expected, but the service was abysmal. One of the children has a severe peanut allergy, so (as usual with a new restaurant) we called before going to check things out, and the person who answered the phone was mostly non-committal, saying we should check with our server upon ordering. When we got there, the server told us that everything fried was fried in peanut oil, but as long as we ordered nothing fried we'd be okay. That did limit the selections, but we found things we all wanted, and ordered accordingly... he ordered a burger WITHOUT the fries. When our orders came, his plate was LOADED with French fries. The waitress was mildly apologetic and eventually replaced the entire meal, but the new burger was COLD.

“Good bar food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

We went there the first night we arrived since it was late. We were disappointed with the dinners but I can probably say it is more of a bar/burger place. Very nice atmosphere
