Good value and really good food. BYOB. Seafood with mediteranean twist.

“It's all about the seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

Ever find yourself driving up the coast of MA with a hankering for seafood? Try the Causeway, with it's succulent lobster (we shared the steamed twins) and amazingly generous mountains of fried delicacies (we can't do these anymore, not even shared) The chowder was a hearty yet delicately seasoned marriage of clams and potatoes, perfect for a damp day of travel. Finding out that the Greek salad was a large portion, I ordered the garden salad and was surprised by the addition of kalamata olives and feta cheese, compliments of our thoughtful waitress. Come in your casual clothes and be welcomed as friends. Plan ahead as this place is popular. Even on a cold, wet Wednesday, we had a slight wait.

“Really Good. Crazy huge portions.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

Very cool and busy local restaurant. Food was excellent, but way too much to eat. My wife ordered the Coconut Rum Haddock, which was about 8" x 6" in size and about 2 inches thick. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. I got about 2 pounds of spaghetti and 10 meatballs.

Really tasty, but bring your appetite!

“huge portions, low pricing & great atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

My wife heard of this place from 3-4 people who recommended it We went there for dinner last night. It's a down to earth fantastic seafood restaurant. We sat at the counter (which cut down the wait) allowing us to see everything being prepared and plated. I had a Seafood Marinara that I could only finish the heaping mound of seafood. My wife had the Malibu Crusted Haddock and she loved it. The fish chowder looked unbelievable and was flying out of the kitchen.

If you like good food, low prices and a bustling atmosphere this is your place. Plus with it a BYOB and a packy next door it's alot of fun. Regardless of the time you go you'll wait 30-45 minutes. Sit back and relax while you wait!

“Great recommendation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2012

We followed advice on tripadvisor and went to dinner here. It was super. The seafood marinara was phenomenal! A little hot inside. No real AC could be felt. BYOB done by several there. Would go back. Everyone had leftovers to bring home.
