The best experience of our entire Massachusetts trip! 7 Seas Whale Watch was fantastic. The crew were very helpful and informative. I would take this tour every day if I could! This tour truly exceeded all of my expectations!

We went on a whale watch with 7 Seas out of Gloucester, Ma. on July 19, 2008. Nothing but good things to say. It was the best!!! Saw lots of whales feeding, tail slapping and even a young calf that breeched about 8 times in a row. We were fasinated how the gulls would swoop down for the leftovers when the whales would come up to feed and then land on the whales mouth as if it was a big rock. Got hundreds of photos (see a couple attached) The boat was great, and our watch was not crowded at all. We took a morning trip and I understand that they are less crowded than the afternoon ones. All in all we had a great day and have been recommending this trip to all our friends. We would definately go with 7 Seas again as they did a fantastic job.

What an incredible experience. The naturalist on board gives an excellent presentation before embarking and when the boat reaches the feeding area. The boat is fast, comfortable and not crowded. Another whale watching boat at the feeding grounds had people crammed onto the decks. With 7 Seas, you could easily move from side to side to follow the whales. Other crew members walk the decks to answer any questions. Most helpful. This is my first review. I was so taken with 7 Seas Whale Watch I just had to write.

What a wonderful experience. My husband and I were thrilled with this trip. Crew was informative, very friendly. Boat was not crowded so you could move around from deck to deck.

This was my first whale watch and it was beyond expectation. We saw 16 Humpback Whales, 3 Minke Whales and 1 basking shark which swam right up alongside the boat. There was also potential to see Dolphins and seal which they had seen on the morning trip. The close encounters with these magnificent creatures was unexplainable. I can't stop thinking about how awesome this trip was. We had gotten caught in storm out on sea and it was pouring, we thought the boat was headed back because we had already seen a good number of whales, with mother and calf pairs swimming with their "escort" (a third unrelated whale.) The calf's swimming right alongside the boat then going under to check out the other side.
Well just when we thought the show was over the boat slowed to a stop and the lady announced "if you don't mind the rain you gotta see this" When we got outside it was the most amazing thing, their was about 5 humpbacks playing and feeding during the storm. It was mother nature at her finest, we got to see the mother and calf pairs breaching out of the water, there was bubble feeding with 3 adults, they were so close you could hear their air spouts and see the baleen in their mouths!!!!!! The announcer was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable I felt like I learned so much. The boat was very clean and comfy, and the crew were just as awesome as the whales! Everyone from the girl at the ticket counter to the women at the snack bar (who was offering her own jackets to people who were cold!)

I highly recommend 7 Seas Whale Watch to anyone who wants a quality whale watch. They have tremendous respect for these animals and all marine life. They also went above and beyond with customer service which these days is rare with any business. I will be going back some day!
