“What a GREAT place!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

A spotless little restaurant with most pleasant people just waiting to please you with delectible breakfast or lunch with everything being homemade. Opens at 7:00 and closes at 2:30, this restaurant was recommended to us by a patron staying at our motel and so we tried it as we were leaving Gloucester...Wish it would have been the first restaurant we tried! We opted for a special which was baked Haddock w/mashed potatoes and choice of broccoli or corn, we also ordered the homemade macaroni & cheese....way too much but we wanted to try it. Absolutely delicious! The dessert of the day was homemade blueberry pie which we passed on. Had alot of food left over to take with us which we ate for dinner at the airport. This is now at the top of the list of our favorites along with Duckworth Bistro and Azorean but for a great home cooked meal, you cannot beat the Morning Glory.

“Location location location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013 via mobile

Located on the Blvd overlooking Gloucester Harbor. That alone is worth a visit.

In all the times my husband and I have been, we've been greeted with warm and friendly servers, with coffee in hand ready to fill your cup! I love breakfast, everything about it, the coffee, the lazy conversations among the regulars, the paper readers, the tourists, this place has it all. Its just comfortable. I've always wanted to own my own breakfast place, if I ever end up with one, It'll be cozy and comfy, similar to Morning Glory! Highly recommend.

“Very Nice Family Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

If you leave here and are not satisfied, it's your own fault. Service is a 5. Everyone that works there stops and ask if you need anything, or how everything is, and you can tell they mean it.

Good freshly made food, made by someone that you can tell cares, and with a little Portuguese spin.

Cleanliness get a 5 too.
