Stage Fort Park is a tiny park on the ocean. It isn't a groomed park with flowers everywhere but rather a small strip of beach with boulders to climb on and rocks to explore with a few picnic tables scattered about under the trees. Further up is a visitors center and a nice playground for small children that looked very popular. There is a snack bar but we didn't eat there. It is a nice park for the kids to run off their energy. My girls are used to beaches with only sand so a rocky beach was very novel and screamed out at them to be explored. We easily spent an hour here after visiting Hammond Castle.
