Good Harbor Beach is the best beach in Massachusetts. It's clean, deep and wide, and the little island off-shore is accessible at low tide for wading and hiking adventures.

We stayed at Blue Shutters Inn right on Good Harbor Beach. They have rooms for as low as $60, which is only $30 more than the parking fee they charge at the beach entrance!

My family highly recommends Blue Shutters Inn AND Good Harbor Beach.

Nice beach with smooth white sand. I think it's one of the best relaxing beach in Mass. The water is quite cold even during summer time around mid July, but i enjoy laying on the beach than swimming in the water. The only down side is the restroom and wash up area will close around 6pm ... when they are still many people on the beach!

GOOD HARBOR IS THE BEST, it is consdierablly expensive to park, but i pay anyway because i love it there. If your looking for waves, you'll find them there. There is always a ton of people there during the summer. COnsession stand isnt anything fabulous so i suggest bringing lunch and lots of water. Walk to parking lot to beach is nothing. Go early in the morning or you wont get a spot...depends what kind of day it is. Umm...ive taken great walks on good harbor beach, good excersise. During off season sept-april i bring my dog and am always amazed to see how many other people bring their dogs also. Not rocky, soft sand, hermit crabs! no sharks haha watch out for us boogie boarders, you'll always see us in the water. After 4 surfers always show, lots of fun, COME ON DOWN!!

On a beautiful Sunday summer afternoon at about 12:30 we couldn't get in because the parking was full. So go early. This is just for your information, not a review. The place did look beautiful, and crowded.
