We were traveling down I-495 and didn't want to resign ourselves to another chain restaurant. We were very happy to find The Rome (via TripAdvisor) and had a very nice dinner.
Our waitress, Joanne, was pleasant and helpful, with a fun attitude. She treated us like regulars, even though it was our first time to the restaurant. My wife had the fettuccine alfredo (nice sauce, home-made noodles a little over-done) and I had the chicken piccata (very good, with lots of mushrooms). Our salads (included) were fine, if uninspired, and while the dessert menu was tempting, we were too full from dinner to try anything.
So, don't resign yourself to the Olive Garden when you can go to The Rome.
