“An OK place to explore the area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

We came in October during a college visit. The hotels closer to colleges (apprx 10-15 miles away) were booked or mostly booked that weekend. The price we got was reasonable considering proximity to Boston. The room we had was nice and clean. Those the hotel has a pool and other amenities, we didn't have much chance to use them (if we stay here again, they seem nice and inviting).
2 out of 4 elevators were working, so we had to wait when we needed to go up/down.
There was an event at the hotel one of the nights, but we weren't bothered and had nice restful time after busy days.
There was also some business function starting the day we were leaving, but the staff was taking care of the things in efficient and pleasant manner.
What was really annoying is the way to get in and out of the hotel with all the twists and turns to get on and off the highway (plus you got to pay tolls each time). Local roads might be a better alternative to get around if you don't mind too much traffic.

I apologize for the delay in responding to your review of the hotel. You will be happy to know that the elevator project has finally been completed All four of the hotels guest elevators are currently working. I am sorry that you did not seek directions from my Front Office staff, with most of the staff graduates of the various colleges and universities in Boston; they would be able to keep you off the toll ways and get you to your destination safely. The hotel renovation will be finishing in late March of 2013, and if you plan to visit the area again, I ask that you come and see the property.
Again thank you for your comments.

Respectfully,

“woth the price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Our room was nice and clean, but no frig. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The main problems were 1)the elevators. There are 4 and only 2 were working. At times you could wait up to 15 minutes waiting for one because there was a conference going on. 2) if you needed anything or had a question you had to ask the front desk because many of the staff didn't speak english. I am including the wait staff in the resturants in this too. In the resturant they knew the menu but beyond that if you had a question or substitution it became difficult to order.

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay. All of our guests will be happy to know that the elevator modernization project for our lobby elevators has been completed.
The project was the first step in the renovation of the hotel.
I apologize for your difficulty when speaking with my staff. We are proud of the many
nationalities that that work at the hotel and contribute to our success. The entire management team is fluent in at least two languages with English being their main language. We constantly look for ways to improve our levels of service and interaction with our guests, and have shared your comments with all of our associates. The result is that we will be working with some of our associates on English as a second language classes. Again thank you for your comments and we look forward to hosting you in the future.

“Not Up To Standards”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

Came here for a conference. Reserved the club floor. Front desk staff were efficient and unfriendly. Elevators are a proplem. Place needs a rehab. Room was clean but very old. Bathroon was extremely small. Club lounge needs more choices. Won't stay here again.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else. Plenty of choices close by.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay. During your most recent stay in November of 2012, the hotel had not yet started the rooms renovation of the facility. In addition the lobby guest elevators were out of service for the upgrades and renovation. I apologize for the problems this amy ahve caused during your stay. We continue to work towards our goal of making the hotel the destination hotel for guest's in the Metro West market.
In addition I apologize for the delay in responding to your post. Again thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and we are sorry about the issues that you have described.

“No room at the inn”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

I booked a room at the Sheraton Framingham for October 20. When I arrived at 11:30 pm, tired after a long drive, I was told that they were overbooked and did not have a room for me and my daughters. The last thing I wanted to do at that point was to put my luggage back in the car and go somewhere else. My daughter was scheduled to row in the Head of the Charles Regatta the next day. The hotel sent us on a complicated 5 mile drive on back roads to Northeastern University's conference center in Ashland, MA. The one plus (and the reason I didn't rate it as terrible) is that the Sheraton covered the cost of the room at the conference center. I would rather have paid for my own room and gotten to bed at a more reasonable hour.

On behalf of the entire team at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel I would like to apologize for your issues you described in your review. Due the heavy demand created by the regatta, coupled with a group that was unable to depart, we did not have a room ready for you.
My staff and I are truly sorry for the relocation to another property.
If you were to return to the area next year for the regatta, please contact me directly as the hotel would be honored to serve you as my guest.

Again I apologize for the issue and look to serve you in 2013.

“If you are traveling for hockey stay at Res. Inn or Courtyard”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

First off, this hotel is complicated to get into and out of. There aren't any real restaurants around the immediate area and it was 20-30 minutes of back roads to get to the rink/arena. Inside the hotel was mediocre at best. The elevators weren't working on the main floor and the ones that were working took FOREVER. No coffee in the lobby on the weekends. The sprinkler in the bathroom appeared to be removed and had what appeared to be tissue stuck in the hole. It was about $15 more to stay directly across the New England sports center at the Res. Inn and you get continental breakfast. Below expectations. Bed was nice, room seemed to be clean. Decent last resort.

Thank you for taking the time from you busy schedule to review your recent stay while in town for a tournament. We have been undergoing renovations for most of 2012 and will conntinue to re-do and upgrade the hotel. Our new restaurant and lounge will be opening in March of 2013, and we feel that it, along with our new breakfast restaurant will address our guests needs. We have completely redone the elevators in the looby and they will be back on-line on Dcember 27th of this year. We know that you and your team have other choices when in town, and we are addressing the needs of our guest in order to make this hotel the choice when in town for a tournament.

Again thank you for reviewing our hotel, and we look forward to serving you in 2013.
