After a day of visiting Connecticut and Rhode Island capitol buildings, we stayed in Foxboro to be near our next destination--Boston. The Ninety-Nine Pub was in the parking lot of the hotel, very good freeway access, and casual atmosphere. In response to my request to get a meal without french fries, our waitress made the following statement, "Oh, our menu items are just suggestions. You can order whatever you want!" Those were words for sore ears, and her other answers and descriptions of the food allowed us to choose what we wanted, not what the menu thought we would like. The lobster roll was outstanding, just what this landlubber had in mind. My husband's steak was excellent, too. In fact, we sought out 99 in other cities on this trip and were equally satisfied with the one in Colonie, NY, near Albany. You will NOT be disappointed.
