“First time! Will NOT be our last.....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

First time dining at Rovezzi's. Stellar experience. Our server, Ruth, was excellent and knowledgable about wine choices for dinner. Much appreciated! Had the chef special. Great flavors and the scallops were perfection! Others enjoyed the veal and the raviolis. Lemon panna cotta dessert was incredible!! Cannot wait to return!

“Average - Rather Uninspiring”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

My husband and I rented a lake house for a week and visiting with our daughter who recently moved to Boston. The evening we visited Rovezzi's was me and my daughter's birthday. We share a birthday. Rovezzi's was recommended as a good restaurant so this is where we decided to celebrate our birthdays. The staff was friendly enough. Good atmosphere. But the food was overall disappointing. I had the Ravioli Aragosta. It was only barely warm when served. The ravioli was rather tough. The dish didn't have much taste. It wasn't bad. Just wasn't what I would call good. My daugher had a dish with scallops and risotto. She said it was good, not great, but good enough. Her boyfriend had the Veal Parmigiano. The waitress said they were out of the fettacini, but had linguini. So he ordered it with the linquini. It came with spaghetti. And it came with ALOT of spaghetti. The veal itself was okay. My husband had the Gnocchi with italian sausage. That was pretty good. As our small drink glasses would sit emply, we had to ask for refills. And where was the bread? I have to say, I've never eaten at an Italian restaurant and not have bread brought to the table. However, as we were walking out of the restaurant, there was a table next to the hostess counter with a big piece of bread that was being cut on. ??? Were we supposed to ask for the bread? Because it was never brought to the table or even offered, we assumed they just didn't have any bread. Were we supposed to help ourself? That would seem strange. Even then, we were not made aware of any bread. We didn't order any dessert even though it seemed like the thing to do for our birthday. But by the time we were finished with dinner, we just were not inspired. So, we came with expectations of a good dinner, certainly at the prices charged. Dinner for 4. One bottle of one of their cheaper wines ($39). No appitizer. 4 main dishes. One side salad. No dessert. $143 plus tip: $170. Should have been much better.

“Fine Italian food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

We really enjoyed a couple of pasta dishes and bruschetta in a nice, casual setting. Friendly service. We would go back.

“Wonderful meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013 via mobile

This was a great find after a long day at the Brimfield antiques market. Very friendly bartender welcomed us when we arrived a wee bit early for our reservation and the staff being ready to seat us. Lovely, warm ambiance. Terrific meal with generous portions. We could have shared our chicken-eggplant dish but enjoyed the extras the next day. Antipasti states on menu that it was "for two" but 4 of us shared and we brought some home. Will surely return during our next trip to the area.
