“Great food, great service, great presentation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2014

We went to the Flying Bridge on the last night of our recent vacation, and enjoyed it thoroughly. They say you "eat with your eyes as well as your palate," and I can tell you that both enjoyed the lobster cocktail I had for dinner. (It's listed as an appetizer, but worked as a light dinner too). My husband had a tuna steak that was cooked exactly as he requested - the chefs are on point! Our server (Sean) was terrific - accommodating without being "in our face." And dessert was outrageous. :)

“Lost its Appeal-Say Goodbye!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2014

I've been going to the Flying Bridge for years and yes, it offers a very nice view of the Falmouth harbor. But for the price, it just isn't worth it any longer. Dishes are priced so much higher than they need to be and quite truthfully, it isn't any better than local pub fare. My baked stuff shrimp was no more than a half dozen medium size shrimp with an ice cream scoop of thanksgiving stuffing plopped on each. The clam chowder was obviously straight from a #10 can and the salad was wilted. On top of that, on a good summer day, they cram more people in such confined spaces, it's tough to adjust your chair. I'm not planning to return anytime soon. Spend the extra 25 minutes and travel off-Cape to Plymouth Center and enjoy a wonderful meal at Isaac's for near half the price. You'll be glad you did.

“Average food and service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

The wait was not woth it. The food was good, but not great... Definitely not worth a 45 minute wait. If your food is just good, you must make up for it by having making sure you have the best severs and this restaurant have average employees. The decor needs a major face lift and the food just need a few minor changes. Take the decor up a decade or two and provide exceptionally outgoing people that want to be there and this will be much better at. Good luck I hope you implemeant some of these suggested ideas.

“Summer Wonder”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

Falmouth Heights has been a special destination going all the way back to college days. One of the best ways to enjoy your visit is just tie up a pair of sneakers or slip on sandals and start walking - to the beach, harbor restaurants and downtown Falmouth. Falmouth has simply maintained its' Cape Cod charm for over the five decades I have been a visitor. And walking is how we traveled to the Flying Bridge for a beautiful July day lunch. The criteria - a restaurant on the water, that offered good seafood and could accommodate a family of 6 plus a 14 month old.menu included both fresh and fried fish selections, Waite staff was friendly, efficient, and responsive. Shell fish, lobster, seafood sampler, fried calamari, blackened Tuna was ordered and well received. Outside seating can always have it’s challenges but the Flying Bridge offers enough indoor/outdoor shaded areas for all including the 14 month old. Family really enjoyed our luncheon visit, both view and menu offered a reasonably priced luncheon, and one I would recommend you give it a try while enjoying you stay in Falmouth.
