There is no better feeling than sailing with the wind in your hair and the smell of the sea filling your lungs. And to top it off, someone else doing all the work! You don't have to worry about a thing other than enjoying yourself. Our family went for the 2 hour cruise and my only wish was that we could have gone on the 3 hour one. They serve drinks (soft and adult) onboard so you can wet your whistle. They don't serve food, but the boat is docked right next to the Clam Shack, so fill up with grub before or after right there.
Captain Chris is full of information about the Cape, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, so if you want to know anything about these places, he can share the history with you.
The ship itself is a beauty! She is spotless and well maintained. The crew is very helpful and attentive.
My kids were entertained the entire time. They even were allowed to hoist one of the sails and they found that exciting. When we told Captain Chris that the kids were learning to sail, he shared with them what he was doing and why and they thought that was interesting. They were attentive to the tacking and jiving because of this.
If you are staying on the Cape, you must take a ride on Liberte. It is so worth it! We will definately go back again.
