“Go go go for a real American dining experience - according to 'Brits' at least”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

We are a family of 4 from the UK. We wanted to enjoy some seafood in a reasonably-priced American restaurant. Having spent 3 nights in Boston at 'Trip Advisor' favourites and then Salem, Concord, and Newport top-rated Colonial restaurants we arrived at Falmouth and picked the Quohog for dinner. We all enjoyed it for its modern day 'all-American' equivalent authenticity. My first Lobster Roll ever and luckily I shared it with my husband, as it was very filling. It was fabulous. The lobster was not smothered with mayo or butter and the roll was toasted and almost incidental to the proportion of good quality lobster meat - seemingly several tails and claws. Perfect for me - someone who hates battling with shells and what is end isn't edible within an entire lobster (my bad!). Other family members had mussels, and a burger. Drinks included beers and cocktails. Highly recommend. It may not seem anything special to an American national but I can tell you that we loved it as your colonial cousins from the mother country :)

“Don't Judge A Quohog By It's Outer Shell”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

This place is downright funky with really good food and the biggest Lobster Roll you could find on the Cape--or anywhere else for that matter. It is a Dive Bar as advertized but offers much more than Pub Fare and a lively cast of staff and customers. An all around fun place probably not for the fine dining set which makes it all the more the interesting.

“Good bar for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013 via mobile

I give this 4 stars for a bar with a good beer selection and good food that I will happily return to. Egg roll appetizer is the most unique item I've had and it changes every week - I've had both the short rib and the turkey version (similar in style to the Irish egg rolls that Liam Maguire's offers). As others have said, the lobster roll has at least a chicken lobster's worth of meat in it, with no discernible dressing or filler - it is pure lobster. The fish and chips is memorable because of the cornflakes and slivered almonds. I also like their version of a Cuban sandwich, although be warned that it is very much not traditional; but, hey, it's the Cape so what were you expecting? Very much a local's place and not a tourist place.

“Monsta Lobsta - You won't be disappointed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

True, lobster rolls are everywhere on the Cape, but Monsta Lobsta is something else. Exceptionally fresh and tasty. We shared one for lunch and were stuffed. Service was great and personable.

“Easily The Biggest Lobster Roll I've Ever Had”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

Everyone on here is right - best lobster roll ever. Also I have to say biggest - at least a full lobster and a half. I live not too far away so lobster rolls are not uncommon but this one was great - not too much mayo, buttered roll (and you can have heated butter if you want). My son also loved the truffle fries....off the beaten path but a nice diversion.
